Arthur, completely exhausted after using his magical powers, mutters that he could only control the magical orb for a short time. Looking at Sylvie, he smiles and says, “I’m back.” Then turning to her, he adds, “Come on, Sylvie, it’s time for your bath. You can’t just wander around this mansion doing nothing.” While bathing her, Arthur starts thinking about the princess. He recalls how the maids had said that whenever the princess feels stressed, she comes here to eat. Arthur wonders what could be stressing her out so much. He then remembers being told that the princess’s parents want her to become a mage, but her magical powers haven’t activated yet. Because of that, she can’t enter the mage academy.
In the next scene, Arthur finishes bathing Sylvie and says she looks beautiful now. Just then, his mom walks in and announces, “Now it’s your turn to get cleaned up.” Next, Arthur is taken to get a haircut—he’s about to attend an important event where many influential people will be present, so looking sharp is necessary. During the haircut, Arthur asks the barber why he chose this job. The barber replies, “Because I enjoy it. And don’t worry—you’ll look like a star when I’m done.” When the haircut is complete, Arthur’s face is glowing. His mom compliments him, and his sister says, “Now you really look like my big brother.” His mom then adds, “I’m taking you to the auction house, so I had your hair done. Now let’s get you some clothes.”
They head to a clothing store, and Arthur’s mom begins shopping for outfits. Arthur notices a group of people wearing matching uniforms and asks who they are. The princess explains that they are students from the magic academy. Anyone who attends that academy gets royal treatment. She says they can do whatever they want and no one dares speak against them. Soon after, Arthur spots something called a beast stone and asks his mom about it. She explains, “It’s a special stone. If you touch it and have a beast-type mana core, it will glow and grant you powers. If your core is strong enough, the stone will shine brightly, and you could earn so much money that we’d never have to work again.”
Meanwhile, the princess is trying to convince her mother to let her buy one of these stones. “I want to see if I have magical powers,” she says. But her mother refuses, saying the stone is far too expensive. The princess suggests buying a used one, but her mother ends the conversation firmly. Later, while everyone is eating, Arthur notices the princess sneaking off into an alley. He follows her and finds her staring at an old dragon stone. He asks, “Do you really want to buy this?” and reminds her that her mother said it wasn’t useful for her. But the princess insists, “I just want to check if I have magical powers.” As she reaches for the stone, she accidentally bumps into a student from the magic academy. She quickly apologizes, but the student becomes furious.
Just as tensions rise, the shop manager steps in and asks them to stop. The academy student scoffs, asking if there’s a problem. Before things escalate, the princess’s mother arrives and demands everyone calm down. The academy student arrogantly states, “Don’t you know who I am? I’m from the magic academy.” The princess’s mother responds, “And we are from the Hegar family—ever heard of us?” At the mention of the Hegar family, everyone goes silent; their name carries significant weight within the academy.
Later, Lilia’s father confronts the family, having heard about the incident. Her mother quickly reassures him, saying she diffused the situation before it got worse. Her father then tells Arthur not to worry—this won’t affect his magic academy entrance. Lilia, feeling left out, asks her father, “Are you planning to give my spot in the academy to Arthur? The seat you had saved for me?” Her father quickly denies it. “Of course not, your seat is yours. I’ll get Arthur another one.” But Arthur admits that he hasn’t decided whether he wants to attend the academy yet.
Lilia is visibly upset. She feels ignored by her parents, who seem to be focusing all their attention on Arthur. She storms off, calling them all mean. Later that evening, Arthur goes to invite her to dinner, but she remains silent. A flashback reveals how her father had promised her a seat at the academy since she was young, hoping she would become a scholar. Lilia had promised she’d make him proud. Back in the present, Arthur finds her again. She apologizes for how she acted earlier. Arthur tells her it’s okay. She then confesses that although her father always wanted her to become a scholar, her magical powers still haven’t awakened. She feels like she’s disappointed her parents and believes they’ve given up on her. Arthur reassures her that’s not true—they love her deeply. “If you want proof, I have a plan that’ll help you hear it for yourself.” Lilia agrees to the plan.
Later, Arthur delivers a letter to Lilia’s parents. It says that Lilia has gone to the place where Arthur learned magic and will return after two years. When her parents read the letter, they are heartbroken. They finally realize how much they’ve hurt their daughter by making her feel useless. Lilia’s father, now in tears, says, “I’m sorry, my daughter. I didn’t understand your feelings.” Arthur then says, “Did you hear that, Lilia?” She steps forward, revealing that she had been listening the whole time. Arthur explains that the plan was to help her understand how much her parents care about her. Lilia apologizes for lying to them. Her parents embrace her and say there’s no need to be sorry and that she doesn’t need to become a scholar just to make them happy. But Lilia insists, “No, I will become a scholar—for your happiness.”
In the next scene, Arthur sits her down and helps her try to awaken her magical powers. Her younger sister joins too, wanting to become stronger like her brother. Arthur instructs them to close their eyes and meditate. However, in the darkness of their minds, they see nothing. Arthur decides to help and uses his magical powers to give them a glimpse of what lies within. Gradually, light appears in the darkness, and their powers begin to awaken. Everyone is overjoyed. They celebrate with a small party full of happiness and hope. The final scene shows a grand carriage approaching the auction house carrying mysterious crates. A man steps out of the carriage—but who is he? That will be revealed in the next episode.
