Peepi and Cozel hear a crying voice from the sword. Rashab explains that Rangat was once like Altia but returned to righteousness after witnessing their monastery’s power. He claims to have seen through their tricks with Rangat’s help. Altia asks if he isn’t ashamed of betraying his former allies, but Rangat remains unfazed. Rashab insists that only the faithless who steal from the monastery should feel shame and urges them to convert like Rangat. When they refuse, Rashab orders Rangat to finish them.
Rangat prepares to attack with his magic sword, and the fairy trapped in it screams. Cozel tells the others to move back, but they react too slowly, so he blocks the attack. Rashab is shocked that Cozel survived, but Cozel, visibly disturbed, pleads with Rangat not to use the sword, wondering why such a thing exists. Rashab assumes Cozel fears the sword’s power, but Peepi reveals he can actually hear the fairy’s painful screams. Ala is shocked that no one else can hear it and explains that the sword’s attack comes from the fairy’s wails. Ubel Blatt Episode 1 Summary In English Explain
Rashab, still arrogant, hides behind Rangat and boasts about their impending doom. However, Rangat sheaths his sword, stating his job was only to stop them from boarding the ship, which they will now miss. He suspects a kid below diverted his attack, though Rashab remains clueless and demands he finish them. Rangat warns that further action requires extra payment. Rashab agrees, and Rangat attacks again. Cozel attempts to counter, but the ground collapses, sending him into a deep hole. Rashab, satisfied, dismisses Rangat, who recalls seeing Altia before. Meanwhile, Weed and the others survive and rush toward the ship, as Weed has someone to save from the land of Rave Stem Wallich. Peepi worries about Cozel, but Weed believes he’ll be fine if he is who he suspects.
Deep underground, Cozel regains consciousness and recognizes the place. Rashab appears, delighted to have him trapped, and vows to finish him. He recalls Cozel recovering earlier due to moonlight, assuming it’s a racial ability, but now, in the monastery’s depths, moonlight won’t reach him. Cozel glares at him defiantly. Rashab, annoyed, introduces the Holy Guardian Brotherhood, his strongest warriors, and laments using them on a weakened enemy. He still refuses to spare Cozel, blaming him for his anger.
Cozel, however, ignores Rashab and surveys the area, remembering that 23 years ago, he and a friend passed through here. It is revealed that Cozel is actually Ashit, the person killed at the beginning, somehow reincarnated. In the past, his friend activated a spell, urging Ashit to complete the mission, even as Ashit refused to abandon him. Ernak ultimately sacrificed himself.
In the present, Rashab orders the Guardians to tear Cozel apart. They attack, but Cozel skillfully evades. The Guardians realize he’s no ordinary kid and question Rashab, who dismisses them, saying Cozel is merely a toy for their amusement. When asked if they fear a lone boy, they refuse to hold back, but none can land a hit. Cozel enjoys the fight but knows he hasn’t fully recovered and has no time to waste.
Fixing his sights on Rashab, he chases him down. Rashab stumbles, tries to defend himself, but Cozel presses forward. The Guardians catch up and attack, but Cozel triggers a hidden trap that wipes them out instantly. Rashab, stunned, wonders how Cozel knew about it, as even he was unaware. Cozel calmly states that he has passed through here before. He recalls Ernak mentioning this underground fortress 23 years ago, where the Empire’s army and Witech fiercely fought for control.
Urak had instructed Cozel to memorize all the magical traps in the fortress, as more were added each time it changed hands. Back in the present, Cozel kicks Rashab into a room, where the Abbot questions his presence in their monastery’s most sacred place. Cozel ignores him and heads deeper inside. The Abbot explains that this is the altar of Ernak, an “attendant” of the Seven Heroes, who erected the Thousand Stone Spears 23 years ago to stop Witech’s largest offensive. Cozel, disgusted, tells him to shut up, furious that Ernak is reduced to an “attendant” when he sacrificed everything to complete the magic circle.
The Abbot demands an explanation, and Rashab dismisses Cozel as a mere stowaway with a hero complex. The Abbot is outraged that Rashab let him in. Meanwhile, Cozel reaches a crystallized Urak, greeting him and saying he has returned. The Abbot shares another flashback, claiming he witnessed the Seven Heroes on their journey to the Forest of Death. He says four heroes betrayed the Empire for Witech and were executed by the remaining seven. The Seven Heroes then built the border wall using the magic circle beneath Cozel’s feet.
Flashback to 23 years ago: The Seven Heroes hold a meeting where Ernak wants to leave for another mission. The others stop him, insisting they complete the emperor’s task. Ashit (Cozel’s past self) sides with Ernak and assures their group they will finish the mission together. Back in the present, the Abbot claims seeing the Thousand Stone Spears inspired his path to enlightenment, leading him to build the monastery. He says his efforts were recognized by Schem Wallich, who entrusted him with guarding the Empire’s borders.
Cozel laughs, mocking the fact that Wallich has become a landgrave. He recalls how Wallich, once a bandit, bragged about the emperor’s trust. He remembers Wallich laughing as he hacked him apart, and the Seven Heroes cheering as they slaughtered the “traitors,” including him. Cozel bitterly swears that Wallich must have been thrilled at the rewards he’d receive for killing them. Turning back to Urak, he praises Ernak’s sacrifice and then draws his sword, intending to destroy the magic circle.
The Abbot panics, ordering Rashab to stop Cozel, but Rashab is too afraid. The Abbot attacks with hidden weapons, but Cozel parries them and slices through the magic circle. Meanwhile, on the surface, Weed and the others realize the ship has left without them and are surrounded by warrior monks. Weed fears he won’t reach Sharon, but suddenly, the monastery collapses. Rashab uses the Abbot as a shield, and the Thousand Stone Spears vanish, sending the monks into disarray. With no border left, people rush into the Empire. Cozel emerges, remembering Urak’s last moments, and swears vengeance against the Seven Heroes.
Nearby, Rashab is trapped under rubble, begging Rangat for help. Rangat considers it but realizes Rashab has lost all power with the monastery gone, so he walks away. Soon, an angry mob arrives, ready to take revenge on Rashab, who falls into despair. Elsewhere, warrior monks scramble to escape by airship, but while they argue over spots, Weed and his group seize the ship and take off. Weed believes they can still catch up to the earlier airship if they hurry, while Altia realizes her smuggling business is over. As they cross into the Empire, Peepi worries about Cozel—until they see him flying beside them on a stolen dragon.
Meanwhile, the Seven Heroes witness the disappearance of the Thousand Stone Spears and decide to inform the emperor. The gathered people are fearful, but a soldier reassures them that the Seven Heroes will protect them, lifting their spirits. Though Schem Wallich is deeply worried, Glenn advises him to stay composed. Wallich steels himself, but as he looks at the ominous skies, unease grips him.
