The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made Anime Summary

Seiichi was living the absolute dream—assuming your dream involves being miserable, friendless, and the designated class punching bag. His life was a tragedy until he was suddenly yeeted into another world, where a rather unique girl named Saria (who happened to be a gorilla at the time) embraced him and proposed marriage. But before we get to the monkey business, let’s rewind to where the trauma began: high school.

Back then, Seiichi spent most of his time acquainting his face with the floor at the back of the classroom. His classmates were absolute gems, constantly reminding him that he was overweight and unpleasant to look at, because apparently, teenagers have zero chill. Then, without warning, a disembodied voice boomed through the school like a principal with a god complex, commanding everyone to sit down. An invisible force slammed every student into their chairs. According to Seiichi, this was the exact moment his life went from “bad” to “weird.”

The voice announced, “I am God,” and the classroom went dead silent. The students were too stunned to process that a divine being was sliding into their DMs directly. Well, everyone except Seiichi, who was likely just trying to stay invisible. The deity dropped the bombshell: “Congratulations! You’re all leaving Earth to go be heroes in a fantasy world!” Naturally, panic ensued because mass kidnapping isn’t usually a sign of benevolence. Sensing the room reading the situation as a horror movie, the entity reassured them, promising fame, glory, and the hero treatment upon arrival.

Moments later, Oprah-style, the voice started handing out superpowers. “You get a status screen! You get magic skills!” Seiichi received the same starter pack as everyone else, though he had absolutely no clue how to use any of it. Then came the ultimate high school nightmare: a group project. The voice announced they had ten minutes to form parties of three before the transfer. Chaos erupted as social cliques scrambled to team up. Seiichi, desperate not to be left behind, tried to find a group.

But the moment anyone checked his stats, they laughed in his face. He was absurdly weak—still at Level 1 with stats lower than a garden slime. He was rejected faster than a bad credit card. Crushed by humiliation, Seiichi watched as the transfer began. Every single student vanished into the new world… except for him. It was just Seiichi and the awkward silence until the deity turned its attention specifically to the loner left behind.

Since you were left alone like the last slice of pizza nobody wants, the self-proclaimed God said, “I’ll grant you a special ability, one that literally no one else has because they didn’t need a pity prize.” With that, Hiiragi, Seiichi was finally yeeted into the other world. Upon arrival, he boldly declared that this marked the beginning of his epic adventure!

However, reality hit him harder than a truck. Fast forward five days, and the only “adventure” he’d experienced was starvation. Exhaustion overwhelmed him, and he collapsed face-first into the dirt, muttering that he hadn’t eaten anything in nearly a week and that absolutely nothing cool had happened. As he lay there, contemplating his mortality, he noticed something wriggling nearby—a worm. Desperation makes you do weird things, so he actually opened his mouth to eat the forbidden gummy worm.

Thwack! Something beaned him in the back of the head. Startled, he blurted out, “What just assaulted me?!” Looking around, he spotted a fallen fruit. He picked it up and used his Appraisal skill. To his surprise, it wasn’t just lunch; it was the Fruit of Evolution. Seeing no “Poison” label, he decided to eat it. The moment it touched his tongue, a taste of pure, concentrated bitterness filled his mouth. It was disgusting.

Suddenly, a system voice echoed: Evolution Fruit effect has begun. Seiichi braced himself for a magical transformation, but when he checked his body… nothing happened. Anti-climactic much?

As he pondered his next move, he glanced toward the trees and froze. A monkey was standing there. He instantly realized it was the same creature that had probably chucked the fruit at him earlier. When he checked its stats, his blood ran cold. Level 120. Seiichi was still sitting at a pathetic Level 1. If those “Clever Monkeys” decided to throw hands, it would be Game Over instantly.

The monkeys began performing some strange, incomprehensible interpretive dance before suddenly leaving the area. After some time passed, Seiichi returned to the spot only to find the ground littered with countless Fruits of Evolution. He stared at them in disbelief, wondering how he could possibly carry all that loot. Then he remembered he had an Item Box. One by one, he vacuumed every fruit into his inventory. Soon after, he spotted a bottle lying nearby. Inspection revealed it was a high-grade healing potion—top-tier loot just sitting in the dirt. Without hesitation, he threw that into storage too.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the New World, the rest of the students—likely including the popular Aoyama, Hiroki—had gathered together, chatting excitedly about the unfamiliar land they had been transported to, completely unaware that Seiichi was currently living a survival horror game.

Back with the popular crowd, a female classmate—likely Kannazuki, Karen—started arguing that Hiiragi, Seiichi had been dumped in a totally different location, causing the group to panic as they realized they might have abandoned him. Meanwhile, on the other side of the forest, Seiichi was wandering aimlessly, treating the poisonous wilderness like an all-you-can-eat buffet. Eventually, the toxicity hit him, but he figured, “If I’m dying anyway, I might as well die full,” and kept stuffing his face with the remaining Fruits of Evolution.

Frustrated, he yelled at the sky, asking if the fruits actually did anything. The system pinged back: Stats increased. Before he could celebrate, a monkey jumped him from behind. Seiichi, who still had the durability of a wet paper towel, crashed to the ground and had to chug his high-grade healing potion just to stand back up. He screamed at the monkey for fighting dirty, but the beast just lunged again to finish the job.

Suddenly, a “strange substance”—let’s call it weaponized body odor—burst from Seiichi, killing the monkey instantly. He looted the corpse, finding meat, skills, and a guide book revealing these monkeys were actually high-level dungeon monsters. Just as the terror of that realization set in, the system announced, Evolution will now begin, and Seiichi was immediately hit with blinding pain because apparently, leveling up hurts.

He screamed as agony tore through his body, realizing that his sudden “diet” was actually his bones violently rearranging themselves into a leaner, sharper form. The system announced the evolution was complete, granting him a sweet +1,000 to every stat, yet somehow, despite defeating a Level 120 monster, Hiiragi, Seiichi was still stuck at Level 1. Five months flew by in this survival sandbox as he mastered the knowledge from the Clever Monkey‘s book. One day, a Level 311 Aqua Wolf lunged at him, but Seiichi dodged with newfound speed, unleashed a magical strike, and flattened the beast like a pancake. He looted the wolf’s skills, including Water Magic, but before he could celebrate, evolution struck again with even worse pain. With only one evolution stage left, anxiety gripped him, which wasn’t helped by an army of monkeys surrounding him and a massive gorilla dropping from the sky like a hairy meteor. The gorilla, Saria, challenged him to a fight. Seiichi politely asked if he could reschedule, but she said no. Checking her Level 775 stats, he realized these monsters were definitely here for revenge.

The gorilla declared she wouldn’t allow interferences and smacked Hiiragi, Seiichi across the clearing. Seiichi barely dodged the follow-up, causing the beast to freeze; surprisingly, his survival instincts only deepened her interest. Realizing his opponent was female, Seiichi tried a magic kick, but she effortlessly yeeted him into the forest. “You survived?” she asked. “Are you trying to kill me?” Seiichi sobbed. “No, I’m just interested,” she replied, introducing herself as Saria.

Seiichi tried a Water Magic dagger strike next, but it rebounded and hit him instead. “I didn’t even move,” Saria pointed out. “You did that to yourself.” Seiichi‘s self-esteem hit rock bottom. She pummeled him again, but just as he thought it was over, his strange “smell skill” erupted. Saria stopped mid-punch, captivated.

Deeply impressed, she immediately proposed marriage. Without waiting for an answer, she princess-carried him to her cave. “You are my husband now, eat,” Saria insisted. “But I’m human!” Seiichi protested. Eventually, hunger won, and he ate the food, shocked to find it delicious. As Saria handed him fresh clothes, Seiichi couldn’t help but wonder how a gorilla could be such a perfect, intelligent housewife.

Seiichi didn’t care about gorilla literacy; he just wanted to escape the forest. He spotted a suspicious black mark on his map, but Saria interrupted, explaining she learned to read from a random book in the cave—because apparently, primal beasts are self-taught scholars. She even handed him a “Househusband Guide.” When she casually demanded he call her “Wife,” Seiichi panicked and tried to flee while she hunted, but a massive spider blocked his path. Saria returned instantly, punched the spider into orbit, and fussed over him, making Seiichi realize she actually cared.

Elsewhere, a lonely skeleton sat underground, praying for a savior. Back at the cave, Saria mentioned hunting for Fruits of Evolution. Seiichi nearly choked as she explained that eating 11 kills you. He confessed to eating 10—which happened to be the stash she was saving for her future husband. Instead of being mad, Saria took it as destiny and proposed again. Seiichi admitted he didn’t hate her, so she said, “Great, we’re married,” and left. Seiichi immediately ran for his life. Meanwhile, his classmates were stuck in boring sword training, complaining that the King’s order to defeat the Demon Lord required more than swinging at air.

Though the students’ physical abilities were broken, they still lacked proper training. They believed defeating the Demon Lord would be easy, yet they were forbidden from real combat. The instructor teased them with the idea of fighting weak monsters, then immediately changed his mind, ordering another full day of swinging swords at the air instead. He reminded them to focus on what they could do right now—which was apparently just cardio.

At the same time, Hiiragi, Seiichi fled deeper into the forest to escape his nuptials. Saria chased after him, desperately shouting for him to turn back from a specific danger zone, but he refused to listen. He stopped in front of a strange cave radiating “Boss Room” energy. Hearing Saria approaching, the fear of marriage took over, and he rushed inside.

There, he found a mysterious door. When he opened it, a skeleton was sitting calmly inside. The skeleton spoke, saying it never expected a human here and that he must be incredibly strong. Seiichi checked its status. Name: Xenos the Dark Aristocrat. Level 1. After a moment, the skeleton told him to measure again. This time: Level 1,500.

The skeleton charged, sword raised. Before the strike could land, Saria appeared and tanked the lethal blow. Smiling, she said she was glad she made it in time. Seiichi screamed her name. She smiled softly—he finally called her by her name instead of just “Gorilla.” Seiichi tried to force-feed her a healing potion, but she refused. She told him she was technically already dead; her high stats just allowed her to linger for a dramatic goodbye.

When he asked why she saved him, she answered that he had been kind to her, treating her like a normal girl rather than a monster. She had been genuinely happy. She made one final request: she wanted to see him smile. Seiichi forced a smile through his tears. At that moment, the skeleton asked a simple question: “Do you love that gorilla?” Seiichi remembered his time with Saria. “Yes,” he answered without hesitation. “I loved her.” It was real love. Suddenly, Saria began to glow with a blinding light.

Seiichi unleashed magic at the skeleton, but the bony guy summoned a gate that noped everything into oblivion. Closing the gap with Instant Movement, Seiichi smacked him with his sword. The skeleton chuckled, thanking him for showing “true love,” before transforming into a young girl and vanishing into thin air. Seiichi stood there, bamboozled—was this the power of love? Suddenly, Saria called Seiichi over and casually dropped a bombshell: she wanted to be his wife. After a brain-freeze, Seiichi agreed. Boom—Saria lit up like a glowstick, morphing from a gorilla into a stunning human girl. Seiichi’s jaw hit the floor when she confirmed she was indeed the gorilla. Soon, Seiichi saw the skeleton’s tragic backstory: 15,000 years ago, he was a hero trainer betrayed by an imperial conspiracy. Everyone turned on him except Mea, who died saving him, turning him into a monster. Seiichi and Saria felt heavy, but realized the skeleton was finally reunited with Mea. They looted a chest for clothes so Saria could change. Seiichi then farmed massive XP, unlocking magic and triggering his final evolution. Saria noted that while he claimed it was his “final form,” he just looked slightly more handsome.

Seiichi pondered leaving the forest, and Saria immediately declared she’d follow him anywhere—probably hoping there would be food involved. Suddenly, a strange sound interrupted them, and a ship-like object descended from the sky. Out popped Hitsuji-san, the dungeon administrator (a sheep in a suit, because logic is optional here). He announced they were the first to clear the dungeon and handed out rewards: a 10-day travel kit and gear for cultivating Evolution Fruits. Saria got a fresh outfit, while Seiichi received a helmet that looked about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Before Seiichi could object, Hitsuji-san warped them out. Emerging outside, they were stunned by the scenery, and Seiichi whispered that his adventure was finally starting. Elsewhere, Altria stood amidst a pile of defeated monsters, coolly noting that she did warn them not to mess with her. Later, Saria suggested heading to the nearest city to find Seiichi‘s classmates. En route, they encountered a Level 88 Slime. Seiichi recalled slimes being weak, but this one was apparently on steroids. He dodged its attack, drew his sword, and accidentally sliced the slime—and the entire landscape—in half. Seiichi stood there, terrified of his own overpowered nonsense. Suddenly, his “useless” helmet glowed, transformed into a robe, and delivered a message: “Congrats on drifting further from humanity!” The message then self-destructed, giving Seiichi a crispy perm in the process.

Saria scooped up the message, and Seiichi adjusted his hood—because apparently, mysterious hobo-chic was his new look. They finally arrived at the nearest city, Telbert. Seiichi was sweating bullets, but the magical barrier let him pass without turning him into toast, and Saria breezed through right behind him. The guards grumbled at them to hurry up with the inspection and mentioned that their first stop should be the dungeon. One guard pulled Seiichi aside and whispered a warning: “Don’t join the guild unless you have a death wish. And for the love of gods, don’t do anything stupid.”

Inside the capital, they entered the Adventurer’s Guild, only to walk straight into a fever dream. A person in a dress was getting absolutely pummeled by a hunter. Seiichi froze, slammed the door shut, and took a moment to question his sanity. When he peeked again, he saw adventurers munching on glass and melted wax dripping onto people’s feet—yep, the asylum had definitely been breached. Seiichi wondered if everyone here had skipped their medication. Saria asked what was wrong, but Seiichi covered her eyes, muttering, “Nope. We’re leaving. My eyes need bleach.”

Suddenly, a strange man appeared behind them—the Guild Master, Gustle Clute—who welcomed them with a smile that was way too enthusiastic. As Seiichi contemplated fleeing, the person who had been getting beaten earlier (who was also Gustle, because of course he was) finally changed into normal clothes. He introduced himself as the Guild Master and asked why Seiichi wanted to register. Seiichi explained he was looking for his classmates. Gustle confirmed the guild was the world’s info hub and they’d find everything there. Saria hugged Seiichi from behind, insisting they register because she apparently loved the chaos. Seiichi sighed and agreed, realizing that arguing with his wife was futile. Gustle grinned, claiming he knew they’d fit right in with the freaks.

Just as Seiichi started the paperwork, a group of strange people—the Valkyries—burst in, interrupting him. They surrounded him, asked if he was new, and before he could explain, dragged him outside to their leader, Louise Balze. They demanded Seiichi reveal his “true appearance” (take off the hood). When he did, they were shocked to find he wasn’t a monster, but actually surprisingly handsome.

Gustle stripped with traumatizing speed, changed into a questionable outfit, and started dancing. Seiichi, fearing for his sanity, sprinted across rooftops to escape the Valkyries, only returning once they finally gave up. The guild members stared at him like he was a ghost. Saria asked if this was what he expected, and Seiichi deadpanned that he had zero intention of joining the three weirdos in front of him. Gustle explained they just needed to run “samples”—aka placement exams. Ellis added that they needed a high-ranking supervisor. Suddenly, Altria slammed her staff down. She warned that her “Calamity” curse usually killed people, but Seiichi shrugged it off. Altria grabbed him by the collar, screaming, “Are you suicidal?!” Gustle confirmed she was a walking disaster. Finally, Altria explained the test: three jobs. First stop, an orphanage. Saria volunteered to stay and help, while the Nun ominously stated the reward was high so “no questions allowed.” Seiichi left with Altria, passing playing children and wondering what disaster would strike next.

A kid scraped his knee, and Altria rushed over, applied medicine, and told him not to cry—surprisingly maternal for a walking disaster. Just then, debris fell, but Altria was ready with a defense plan. Next up: building demolition. Seiichi, ignoring instructions like a boss, casually grabbed the building with one hand and oops, the whole thing collapsed. Altria dove in to save him, yelling that this is why she works alone—because people are liabilities. Seiichi emerged from the rubble, complaining about dust in his mouth. Altria grabbed him, screaming that his selfishness could kill everyone, then immediately apologized for being harsh. Mood swings much?

Meanwhile, Seiichi‘s classmates were enduring five months of “harsh training” to defeat the Demon Lord, though their instructors secretly hoped they’d never see war. Back to Seiichi‘s final test: walk a dog. Easy, right? Wrong. It was a wolf, and it dragged Seiichi around like a ragdoll. The owner chuckled, saying they looked happy together, while Seiichi muttered about animal cruelty. The owner teased Altria about smiling more, asking if Seiichi was the cause. Altria blushed and stammered about “just conducting a test.”

Back at the guild, Gustle pulled Seiichi‘s reward out of his clothes (gross), then suggested they rest. When Seiichi mentioned sleeping outside, Altria offered her place, promising good food. Seiichi and Saria happily accepted. After joining the guild, Seiichi faced more tests under Altria. The final challenge: gather 10 medicinal herbs ASAP. Seiichi, confident as ever, rushed off without listening. When everyone else presented their neat herbs, Seiichi proudly showed up with… a rare item. Altria sighed, reminding him the task was for herbs, not legendary loot.

Seiichi searched everywhere for herbs but found absolutely nothing—until Altria pointed out they were literally right behind him. Classic. He grabbed five, but he still needed five more. Back into the forest he went, only to find… more rare materials. While resting, he overheard three sketchy individuals discussing a trap. “We’ll lure the humans,” one said. “No orders, but who cares? Promotion time!” Seiichi, oblivious as always, stepped out and asked about medicinal herbs.

The trio panicked, assuming he’d heard their evil plan. They introduced themselves: Terry Hemto, Bosco Dan, and their leader Bell Giselle. With them was The Black Paladin (aka Leia Falzar), commander of the Third Demon Army Corps. Seiichi, sensing the vibe was off, tried to leave, but they stopped him. “You’ve seen too much!” Leia declared, summoning a massive troll. The troll swung at Seiichi‘s face, but Seiichi blocked it with zero effort, crushed their weapons with his bare hands, and asked again about the herbs. Terrified, the demons retreated, vowing revenge.

Seiichi returned to Altria, exhausted, carrying the herbs… and a pile of rare loot he wasn’t supposed to touch. Altria sighed, handed him five more herbs, and told him to pay attention next time. Elsewhere, Leia was beating her subordinates for their stupidity. Bell explained they’d set teleportation traps to send the human army into a dungeon filled with magic. Leia looked shocked—probably realizing her team was incompetent.

Leia sighed, feeling genuine pity for the humans about to be teleported—though not enough pity to spare Terry, Bosco, and Bell, who were sentenced to 500 lashes for insubordination. Meanwhile, Seiichi and Saria waited outside the city, where a guard chatted them up about their final guild test. “Is Altria supervising?” he asked. When Seiichi nodded, the guard gushed about how great she was and begged them to treat her well. Seiichi and Saria beamed, declaring her their friend. Altria arrived, confused by the bonding moment, but the guard wished them luck before she led them to the final exam: defeat 10 slimes.

“Show me what you’ve got,” Altria commanded. She eyed Saria‘s empty hands. “Weapon?” “These are my weapons,” Saria replied, flexing. “Valid,” Seiichi confirmed, having seen her punch a dragon.

Slimes appeared, and Seiichi drew his sword, ready to slice and dice. But weirdly, the slimes vanished into thin air. Altria immediately called off the test, realizing someone had set teleportation traps everywhere. “We need to report this to the guild, now,” she ordered. But as she turned, her foot triggered a spell. Seiichi and Saria, in a fit of loyalty (or stupidity), grabbed her hand, and poof—all three were warped away.

They reappeared in a strange location, greeted by a dragon sniffing the air like it had found a buffet. “Smells like human,” it rumbled. “Where are we?” Seiichi asked. “No clue,” Altria admitted, then glared at them. “Why did you follow me? I could’ve escaped if I was alone!” “My body moved on its own,” Seiichi shrugged. “We wanted to help!” Saria added cheerfully. Altria, touched but trying to hide it, handed them a Guidance Stone. “If we get separated, this glows red. Now let’s go.”

Naturally, five seconds later, Altria stepped on another trap. A wall shot up, separating her from Seiichi and Saria. She tried to smash it—nope. “Guess I’ll find another way around,” she yelled. On the other side, Seiichi punched the wall in frustration, only to hurt his hand. Saria, ever the optimist, pointed to the Guidance Stone. “Hey, at least we have this!”

Seiichi asked how they were supposed to use the guidance stone, but it answered by glowing, floating up, and smacking straight into the wall separating them from Altria. “Well, that’s helpful,” Seiichi muttered, rubbing his head. Saria pointed out another path, suggesting they try that instead.

Meanwhile, Altria was having a great time fighting a massive zombie. It slapped her around, leaving her injured, but she gritted her teeth. “Not dying here!” she yelled, unleashing a powerful slash that turned the zombie into sushi. Catching her breath, she worried about Seiichi and Saria, hoping they were safe.

Seiichi and Saria, utterly lost in the maze, stumbled upon a treasure chest. Seiichi took one look and kept walking. “Wait! Loot?” Saria asked. “Looks suspicious,” Seiichi replied. Naturally, the chest grew limbs and chased them. “Mimic!” Saria shrieked. Seiichi blasted it with Aqua Bind, shattering it into pieces. A smaller chest appeared in its place, containing a diary. Turns out, Mimics were just lonely, obsolete treasure chests that evolved limbs to find friends. Seiichi and Saria sniffled at the tragic backstory… until they found the loot: a Ring of Misfortune. “Doubles bad luck? Trash,” Seiichi deadpanned.

suddenly, the guidance stone glowed red—Altria was in trouble. They saw a vision of her entering a massive gate, where a huge dragon declared it was lunchtime. Altria charged with her axe, screaming defiance. Elsewhere, Leia was beating her incompetence squad again. “The Black Dragon is one of the Demon Lord’s elites!” she warned. “Anyone who fights it is doomed!”

Seiichi realized Altria was facing that very dragon. The stone flew forward again, smacking into another wall. Furious, Seiichi punched the wall with all his might—and promptly broke his hand instead of the wall. Altria, meanwhile, collapsed after a brutal exchange with the dragon.

The Black Dragon God praised Altria‘s fighting spirit—”Not bad for a snack,” it sneered. Altria, refusing to die before reuniting with Seiichi and Saria, unleashed her ultimate move, Catastrophe, glowing pink with power. The dragon, mildly impressed, countered by slamming her into a wall. “Foolish humans,” it mocked, before stabbing her leg with a crystal. Altria stood up again, only to take a tail strike to the stomach. As the dragon prepared to flambé her, Altria wished to see Seiichi‘s and Saria‘s smiles one last time.

Suddenly, Seiichi‘s voice cut through the air. He and Saria burst onto the scene, Seiichi carrying Saria bridal style. “We’re here to save you!” he announced. Altria, bewildered, asked how they broke the unbreakable wall. Seiichi shrugged. “I wanted it to break, so I punched it really hard.” Classic Seiichi logic.

Altria tried to stand but collapsed from her injuries. Saria begged Seiichi to heal her, so he tossed a potion her way. Then, with zero chill, Seiichi charged the dragon, screaming, “You hurt my friend!” The dragon, unimpressed, declared Seiichi wouldn’t leave alive.

Seiichi drew his sword, declaring he’d defeat the beast. The dragon unleashed flames at Saria, but Seiichi used Instant Movement to dodge. “Troublesome humans,” the dragon grumbled, activating space-warping magic. Seiichi used Appraisal and realized the dragon’s magic stat was 5,000—double a genius mage’s level. Another attack came, and Seiichi dodged again. Enraged, the dragon’s eyes turned red, and suddenly Seiichi lost control of his body. The dragon slammed him into the wall like a ragdoll, leaving him bloody and broken.

Seiichi hit the ground hard, bewildered. “Why aren’t my binding resistance skills working?” he muttered, as if the game was glitching. The Black Dragon God, now fuming, prepped its ultimate spell. Seiichi forced himself to stop charging in blindly like a shonen protagonist and actually think. Saria yelled, “Use the spell you can reflect!” but Seiichi shot back, “Still not enough!”

Desperate, Seiichi activated Catastrophic Descent, unleashing a tsunami that drowned the dragon—temporarily. The beast clawed its way out, froze in disbelief, then attacked again. Seiichi dodged, steadied himself, and shouted, “Finishing this now!” A new sword skill manifested, and he unleashed a flurry of clean strikes. The dragon sighed, “I just wanted to live peacefully with the Demon Lord,” before vanishing into pixels.

Exhausted, Seiichi watched a chest appear—loot! As his level skyrocketed, he wondered why the dragon hated humans so much. Saria hugged him from behind, asking if he was okay. “I’m fine,” Seiichi said. “How’s Altria?” “Sleeping,” Saria chirped. “I treated her wounds.” “Great! Let’s go home,” Seiichi declared. “Wait… how do we get home?” Saria asked. “I DON’T KNOW!” Seiichi screamed, realizing he’d forgotten to plan the exit strategy.

Panic-running in random directions, Seiichi grabbed everything in sight, including the Black Dragon God‘s jewel. “Eat this to boost stats?” Seiichi shrugged and swallowed it whole. Delicious power-up! He gained new magic and opened the dragon’s chest to find… a piece of cloth. Great. A handkerchief for his troubles.

The final item was a biography of the Black Dragon God. It revealed the dragon used to be a guardian in the Land of Women, crafting epic gear, until greedy humans attacked. The Demon Lord saved him, but when the humans eventually killed the Demon Lord too, the dragon was sealed away, left to marinate in hatred and loneliness. Seiichi read this and immediately burst into tears. Saria asked, “Is Hitsuji-san going to show up?” Boom! An explosion frizzed Seiichi‘s hair off—yep, the sheep in a suit had arrived.

Hitsuji-san delivered a message congratulating Seiichi on clearing the dungeon and “leaving his humanity behind”—a compliment Seiichi really didn’t want. Hitsuji-san scolded them for not letting the dragon live peacefully, then complained that Seiichi hadn’t visited him lately. Seiichi felt a vein pop in his forehead. Hitsuji-san finally relented, letting them escape the dungeon with special magic.

They warped to the guild, where Altria woke up princess-carried by Seiichi. She tried to get down, but Saria insisted she was too weak. Altria apologized for her bad luck, revealing her Luck stat had hit -2,000,000,000. Seiichi stared at the number in horror. Saria explained the curse hurt anyone near her, but Seiichi firmly stated that no one should have to carry that burden alone.

Inside, Ellis Maclaine told them the whole guild had been frantically searching for them just to reunite friends. Altria couldn’t believe people actually cared. Seiichi pointed out that despite her “bad luck,” everyone was happy to see her. Overwhelmed, Altria burst into tears and ran away. Seiichi stood there, confused as a brick, until Saria sighed and told him to go chase her. Meanwhile, Terry, Bosco, and Bell were playing video games from the human world when Leia Falzar stormed in, announcing that someone had killed the Black Dragon God.

The demons refused to believe Leia—killing one of the Black Dragon God seemed impossible. Leia admitted she didn’t know who did it, but it was definitely an act against demonkind. Meanwhile, Seiichi scoured the city for Altria, using the Guidance Stone. His path was blocked by Adriana, who asked if he knew about Altria‘s catastrophic luck. Seiichi replied that he was well aware and ready to stand by her side no matter what. Adriana, seemingly satisfied, let him pass.

Seiichi returned to the site of his first test—the ruins of the building he accidentally destroyed, standing like a monument to his poor life choices. He found Altria sitting alone in a corner. “Are you okay?” he asked. Altria murmured, wondering if people still needed her. Seiichi assured her that everyone liked and needed her. Remembering Adriana‘s advice, he hugged her from behind (bold move, Seiichi), promising to protect her and stay by her side whenever she felt lonely.

Back at the guild, Saria worried about Seiichi, but Gustle and Ellis assured her everything would be fine. Seiichi, still hugging Altria, noticed she smelled nice and immediately tried to distract himself from that thought. Altria thanked him for easing her heart. Seiichi then asked for her hand and slipped a ring onto her finger—the Ring of Happiness, a Mythical item that inverted negative luck. Her -2,000,000 luck stat instantly flipped to +2,000,000.

“Will it really work?” Altria asked. Seiichi held her hands and declared she would live happily without bad luck, and he would stay by her side. Altria turned beet red, realizing this sounded exactly like a marriage proposal. She shoved him away and ran for the hills. Seiichi stood there, confused as ever. “Did I say something wrong?” he wondered. Then it hit him—he basically just proposed. He decided to let her be, convincing himself that her happiness was all that mattered.

Later, a reward chest appeared (because why not?). Elsewhere, Altria walked through the city, wondering why her heart was beating so fast. Days passed, and Seiichi and Saria had breakfast. Seiichi was miserable because Altria was avoiding him like the plague. “Does she hate me?” he whined. Saria wisely noted that humans are great at guessing wrong. She left for the orphanage, leaving Seiichi to gather info about the world and his missing classmates.

Seiichi first approached Gustle, who immediately launched into a spiel about a training camp. Seiichi cut him off—he wasn’t looking for boot camp. Ellis then chimed in, pitching another training course. Seiichi clarified for the hundredth time that he wanted information, not to be conscripted into some shady program. Finally, Gustle mentioned a newly summoned hero. Seiichi froze at the mention of the Demon Lord. Ellis explained the heroes were summoned to fight him, then directed Seiichi to the Royal Library. Gustle whipped a map out of his clothes (seriously, where does he keep those?), as if everyone carried maps just in case lost heroes wandered in.

At the palace, King Ranzerf complained that the heroes were poorly trained. A mage suggested sending them to a high-ranking academy since they were impressionable children. When the King asked what if they refused, the mage smiled coldly: “We’ll make them wear restraints.” Charming.

Seiichi entered the library and started reading. Every book painted demons as evil, yet humans had committed atrocities far worse. He couldn’t tell who the real villain was anymore. As he turned pages, he gained a new skill. Then Ice Magic. Then more magic. Eventually, he acquired every element at the highest rank. He stood up, frustrated. “Is it impossible to live as a normal human?” he muttered.

Hunger struck, so he bought a painting from a girl drawing animals, then followed the scent of food to a café. He hesitated, fearing more madness, but went in. The food was annoyingly good. He met Noard and Mei Cherry, the café owners. They casually mentioned that giving a woman a ring here was a formal declaration of love. Seiichi froze. They added that backing out meant death—or worse. Seiichi realized he had accidentally proposed and trapped himself.

Elsewhere, Altria admitted she loved Seiichi. With Adriana‘s help, she planned to win his heart. That night, as Seiichi stood lost in thought, Altria suddenly kissed him and confessed, knowing about Saria. Before he could process it, Saria appeared and calmly told him to kiss Altria back. Seiichi broke down in tears, realizing his life was no longer just a combat adventure—he had entered the most dangerous dungeon of all: a harem.

Seiichi resumed his conversation with Altria, who granted him permission to use a special nickname—VIP access only. Seiichi, deciding to stop being a dense protagonist for once, confessed his feelings without stuttering. They shared a kiss, and just like that, the group became a family. Seiichi now had two wives, Saria and Altria, because apparently, his life plan now included “accidental harem protagonist.”

Suddenly, Gustle Clute (the Guild Master), Adriana, and half the town appeared out of thin air to congratulate him—proving that privacy in this world is a myth. Later, while Seiichi was trying to eat, Gustle started dancing with disturbing enthusiasm. He explained that a high-rank adventurer needs a mount for travel, then pulled a map out of his pocket—because apparently, pockets here are infinite storage units for cartography—and pointed Seiichi toward the stables.

Seiichi went solo to buy a horse while Saria went home and Altria ran errands. He found the stable, where the Stable Master asked if he wanted to enter the “Cup of Bonds”—a combat race where weapons are allowed and safety is optional. To participate, Seiichi needed a mount. The Stable Master showed him a legendary horse, claiming it was faster than a dragon. Seiichi was impressed until the horse suddenly collapsed and died. “It forgot to breathe,” the man explained casually. “It was too stupid to live.” Seiichi stared at him, wondering if he was being pranked.

Next, the man pointed to a wild, untamed beast. Seiichi took one look and deadpanned, “That is a Donkey.” The Donkey immediately roundhouse-kicked the Stable Master twice. Seiichi‘s translation skill activated, and he heard the Donkey screaming that she was too good for these peasants. She challenged Seiichi, launching an attack, but he casually caught her leg and held her upside down. Realizing she couldn’t win, the Donkey apologized and declared Seiichi her master. Seiichi accepted it without question, because at this point, being adopted by a sassy donkey was just a Tuesday.

The donkey introduced herself as Lulune. The Stable Master stood there, jaw on the floor, while Seiichi casually asked if he could buy her. The man exploded, asking if Seiichi was a kindergartner, which earned him a swift kick from Lulune that sent him flying into a wall. Negotiation complete.

Seiichi and Lulune left together. Outside, Lulune was beaming until she caught a scent and declared she was starving. Seiichi, now officially a donkey butler, bought her food, which they ate together—surprisingly delicious. As they walked, they heard shouting. It was the brother of the girl Seiichi had bought a painting from earlier, scolding her for “wasting her talent.” Seiichi stepped in, and the girl, Mei Cherry, thanked him for his previous patronage. Her brother, Clay Berger, announced that Mei was entering the kingdom’s largest Art Competition.

Clay looked at Seiichi suspiciously and asked if he really bought Mei‘s painting because he liked it. Seiichi confirmed it was beautiful. Then Clay revealed his own masterpiece. Lulune stared at it and deadpanned, “That is a triangle.” Seiichi nodded in agreement. “Yep. Definitely a triangle.” Clay froze, his artistic soul crushed.

Despite the awkwardness, Seiichi decided to enter the competition too. Clay mentioned the prizes, highlighting the legendary Napolei Fish for the winner—and even for fifth place. Lulune’s ears perked up. Hearing “legendary fish,” she immediately demanded they enter. Seiichi looked at his gluttonous companion and asked, “Are you seriously planning to win a race just to eat fish?”

Seiichi answered for himself before she could say yes. The day of the competition arrived, and Altria and Saria showed up to cheer Seiichi on. As Seiichi surveyed the other competitors and their terrifying mounts, he realized one thing: this race was going to be anything but normal.

Then, the announcer appeared—Lorna Kirizas, one of the Valkyries. The crowd erupted into deafening cheers the moment her name echoed through the arena. Lorna stood with the calm confidence of someone who revels in attention and began explaining the prizes. Seiichi and Lulune’s eyes went wide in shock. She announced the second prize first: a photograph of Louise Balze (Captain of the Valkyries). Seiichi and Lulune froze, unsure whether to scream or run, while the audience descended into madness.

Then Lorna revealed the grand prize: an entire day with all the Valkyries. The cheers reached a fever pitch, as if collective sanity had left the building. Lulune looked at Seiichi with profound wisdom and said, “We’re aiming for fifth place, the Napolei Fish.” It was the only reasonable decision made all day.

Soon after, Mei Cherry and Clay Berger approached Seiichi. Clay warned him that the race was dangerous and asked why he didn’t withdraw. Seiichi replied that his friends had helped him, and now it was his turn to return the favor. Lorna explained the rules: leave through the main gate, complete one lap, and return. Weapons were allowed because, apparently, peace is for the weak.

The gate opened, and Lorna declared the race started. The contestants charged forward—except for several massive horses that immediately collapsed and died from “trivial causes,” sounding suspiciously like the excuses from the stable master. The remaining participants sped through the gate. Seiichi and Lulune… did not. Lulune was moving in slow motion. Seiichi asked what was wrong, realizing his “legendary mount” might just be lazy.

Lulune confessed she’d been fantasizing about the Napolei Fish all morning and hadn’t eaten breakfast, so now she was running on empty. Seiichi, stunned that his mount’s biggest weakness was a skipped meal, immediately tossed her some food. Meanwhile, the other racers were miles ahead.

One competitor blew a whistle, summoning a massive pack of wolves. The crowd gasped—apparently, the rulebook didn’t explicitly ban “giant man-eating monsters.” The race instantly turned into a survival horror game. Suddenly, Lulune, fueled by snacks, accelerated to Mach speeds. Lorna Kirizas considered stopping the race due to “excessive danger,” but Seiichi was already a blur on the screen. Saria and Altria cheered wildly, while Mei Cherry and Clay Berger noted that things had finally gotten interesting.

Seiichi begged Lulune to slow down before she broke the sound barrier. She explained she’d eaten a speed-boosting fruit and had lost all control. The other adventurers watched in horror as the donkey-missile approached the wolves. “She’s gonna get eaten!” they cried. Lulune simply replied, “I go where I please,” and vaulted over everyone, landing directly on the wolves. In seconds, the pack was sent flying. Lulune then headbutted the Hell Wolf—summoned specifically to kill Seiichi—right in the snout, knocking it out cold.

Upon seeing this carnage, the remaining racers realized that continuing was basically suicide and quit on the spot. Lorna was about to cancel the event, but Seiichi, clinging for dear life, crossed the finish line. First place. Seiichi stood there, confused about how he accidentally won the one prize he didn’t want (the day with the Valkyries), while Mei, Clay, Altria, Saria, and the crowd went wild. Clay turned to Mei and asked if she was ready to draw her masterpiece now.

Mei Cherry announced she had a brilliant idea and rushed off to start drawing, probably fueled by sheer artistic chaos. Meanwhile, Lulune burst into tears because she won First Place instead of the Fifth Place prize, the Napolei Fish. Seiichi tried to comfort her, explaining that “winning is good,” but Lulune only cared about her stomach. He promised her better food later, and she finally calmed down, hugging him.

Suddenly, Lulune began to glow. Everyone stared, wondering if she was about to explode, but instead, she morphed into a human girl. Seiichi froze, panicked, and quickly threw clothes on her. Altria, seeing Seiichi undressing a girl (from her perspective), went nuclear and smacked him. Seiichi desperately explained she ate an Evolution Fruit, but Altria wasn’t buying it—until Saria casually transformed back into a gorilla to prove the point. Altria‘s brain short-circuited. Saria explained she used to be just like Lulune. Once the confusion (and the gorilla) cleared, Altria helped Lulune get dressed properly, and the group accepted the new donkey-girl.

Just as things settled, a gate opened. Two Valkyries appeared, restrained Seiichi with a spell, and dragged him away while he screamed about his innocence.

Meanwhile, at the Demon Palace, the generals gathered. One commander just wanted to go back to sleep (mood), but Lutia Butte dropped a bombshell: she wanted an alliance with the Kingdom of Winburg. Why? Because a single human—Seiichi—had defeated the Black Dragon God. Vittour objected, citing the prophecy, but Lutia declared she’d sacrifice her life for peace. The other generals stood by her, causing Vittour to storm out in a rage.

Seiichi was hauled to the Valkyrie Headquarters. The spell was lifted, and he was thrown into a dojo where Louise Balze, Captain of the Valkyries, was effortlessly destroying everyone. She handed Seiichi a wooden sword. When he politely asked to go home, she ignored him completely.

Elsewhere, at the Barbador Magic Academy, new students (including Seiichi‘s classmates) were enrolling. Some arrogant students mocked the newcomers, bragging about their monster-killing skills. Suddenly, the Student Council President, Karen Kannazuki, stepped forward. When the bullies challenged her to a “monster-killing contest,” she slapped them immediately. With a cold glare, she told them she had no time for their nonsense. The bullies, realizing they weren’t the main characters, quietly retreated.

The scene shifted to Seiichi facing Louise Balze in combat. Seiichi dodged her first strike with relative ease, much to Louise‘s surprise. “Not as easy as it looks,” he quipped. “I wasn’t exactly born dodging Valkyrie attacks.”

Louise announced she’d use full power and lunged again. Seiichi continued to evade every strike, leaving the watching Valkyries stunned. “Who is this guy?” they whispered. Frustrated, Louise declared she’d use her “Final Defense” (which sounds ominous for an attack) and rushed forward. Seiichi tried to stop her, but his Sixth Sense merged with Enemy Detection, sharpening his perception. He dodged perfectly, kicked her arm, sent her sword flying, and placed his wooden blade at her neck. Victory: Seiichi.

The Valkyries froze. Louise stared at him in shock, then asked, “Can I call you Master?” Seiichi blinked. “Are you joking? I didn’t sign up to be a Valkyrie instructor.”

Claudia Asterio stepped forward and led Seiichi away for a private chat. Elsewhere, an assassin watched King Ranzerf from the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Back with Seiichi, Claudia praised his strength and explained Louise‘s backstory: a sword genius with zero magic or skills, forced to develop her own techniques. Seiichi noted how rare that was. Claudia added that only Black Paladin (aka Leia Falzar) could rival her.

Louise approached and apologized for calling him Master, but Seiichi smiled and said it was fine. Louise thanked him for saving her from loneliness. “I was always alone at the top,” she confessed. “People feared my talent. But you defeated me.” Seiichi agreed that loneliness was cruel and accepted her request. Louise enthusiastically responded, “Great! I’ll attack you whenever I want now!” Seiichi realized too late that he had agreed to be a training dummy.

Suddenly, a maid rushed in, screaming that the King had been attacked. She told Seiichi to return home immediately.

Seiichi paused. He was an outsider with no right to interfere… but when has that ever stopped a protagonist? Deciding to meddle, he used World Vision to locate the assassin inside the castle. To his surprise, it wasn’t a shadowy ninja, but a child—Origa Calmeria.

He confronted her, noting that assassin work really shouldn’t be an extracurricular activity for kids. Origa asked how he found her. “Doesn’t matter,” Seiichi shrugged. She lunged with a dagger, but he caught it effortlessly. “Sharp objects are dangerous,” he scolded, using a reflection skill to throw the dagger back. It pinned her clothes to the wall—classic anime pinning. She attacked again, so Seiichi delivered a swift chop to her neck. Nap time.

When the Valkyries arrived, they were stunned that the “deadly assassin” was a pint-sized child. Louise Balze ordered Lorna Kirizas to investigate. Claudia Asterio added that she learned from Ellis Maclaine that looks can be deceiving. Elsewhere, Kreis dropped the bad news: King Ranzerf wouldn’t wake up. The dagger carried a curse of “Eternal Stasis.”

Seiichi rushed to the King and froze—it was the same guy he’d met at the café! Florio Balze, Louise‘s brother and head of the Magic Division, explained he couldn’t break the curse. Seiichi sighed, “Fine, I’ll do it myself.” He activated Magic Creation, imagined the curse vanishing, mumbled some nonsense words, and—poof—the anomaly formed. The King woke up, curse-free. The Valkyries cheered, and the King offered Seiichi anything he wanted. Seiichi made just one request.

Meanwhile, in the Kaiser Empire, the Emperor sent his knights to Barbador Magic Academy, deeming it weak. Back at the academy, the bullies returned to harass Seiichi‘s friends, but Karen Kannazuki stopped them dead in their tracks.

Karen Kannazuki explained about Shouta Takamiya, saying their class had grown stronger since entering the academy. Some withdrew, others stayed—standard dropout rates for a magical high school.

Back with Seiichi and King Ranzerf, Louise and Claudia appeared. It was revealed that Seiichi‘s request to the King had been to build “proper sportsmanship” with Louise—which apparently involved washing each other’s backs in the bath. Altria asked Saria if she felt uneasy about Seiichi being around so many beautiful Valkyries. Saria calmly replied that Seiichi always solved problems in unexpected ways, so there was nothing to do but watch.

Seiichi sat with King Ranzerf in the bath, washing each other’s backs—a scene that was slightly strange yet oddly wholesome. Ranzerf shared his dream: a world where everyone could speak freely regardless of nationality or race, whether demon or human. A world where equality was real and wars ended. It was an idealistic dream, perfectly suited for a King who hangs out in cafes.

Elsewhere, Zakia Gilford confronted King Kaiser (of the Kaiser Empire) about sending knights to Barbador Magic Academy. King Kaiser replied coldly, “Who told you that?” Helio Rooban interrupted in disbelief while Helio (yes, he shouted at himself, apparently) demanded how he dared question the King. Zakia asked if their strength was now only for battle. Helio responded that the “Slavery Bracelets” were a privilege.

Suddenly, an arrow flew toward King Kaiser. Zakia stopped it instantly. The King ordered him to take the attacker away and told Helio to secure the area. Helio claimed King Ranzerf was seeking an alliance with demons. The King decided they either intervene or declare war. Helio confidently stated he had already sent assassins—the Dark Executioners—to kill everyone.

Back with Seiichi, he appeared in front of Louise, Altria, Saria, and Lulune.

Seiichi asked in confusion why they were all there. Florio Balze replied that all these women wanted to see him, so he had gathered them together. Altria admitted she felt jealous seeing Seiichi surrounded by so many beautiful women. Saria commented dryly that the truly jealous one was clearly Altria herself.

When Louise appeared, Altria immediately assumed Seiichi had gotten involved with another woman and tried to hit him. Seiichi stopped her quickly and explained that this was Louise. Saria said calmly, “My name is Saria. I’m Seiichi‘s wife.” Florio smiled and remarked that he truly had a beautiful partner. Altria added, “My name is Altria. I’m Lulune‘s friend.” Lulune then said with unusual confidence that she had devoted her body and soul entirely to Seiichi.

After that brief round of introductions, Florio froze, trying to process how one man could have a wife, a friend, and a donkey-girl all at once. He looked at Seiichi with admiration mixed with envy. “You’re a dangerous man,” he said. Louise agreed, adding that this matched her image of Seiichi‘s magic perfectly. Seiichi quietly wondered what kind of reputation he was building here.

Meanwhile, the assassin Origa Calmeria was being held in custody. Lorna Kirizas began interrogating her in a manner that felt more like a cheap detective drama than a serious investigation. She placed a box of food in front of Origa and let her smell it, saying the food was full of meat. “If you don’t open your mouth, you won’t get any.” Lorna then ate the food herself right in front of her, as if hunger were an officially sanctioned interrogation method.

Seiichi lost his patience. He broke the door open and demanded to know whether they were dealing with a demon or a child. Louise stepped in front of him and asked Lorna what she thought she was doing. Lorna replied that hunger made people talk. Louise immediately canceled Lorna‘s dinner for the day. Lorna burst into tears, dropping the food onto the floor.

Louise removed the cloth covering Origa‘s mouth and eyes and offered her the food. Seiichi told Origa to eat as much as she wanted. She did, greedily. Louise explained that the collar around Origa‘s neck was a slave collar, a magical item that forced obedience on whoever wore it. Seiichi realized that this was what had driven her to attack King Ranzerf. Lorna asked Louise whether she had known about the collar. Louise replied that she knew now and that she had simply forgotten before.

A weak excuse, but one that was accepted anyway. When asked about removing the collar, Origa Calmeria said it was impossible. Then, without warning, the collar tightened on its own. Everyone froze. Louise Balze explained this was one of the collar’s properties—if the wearer failed their mission, it would kill them. Seiichi commented quietly that it was the cruelest method imaginable.

King Ranzerf appeared and declared Origa‘s mission a failure. Helio Rooban (in a flashback or remote communication) had said the collar hid her secrets and that if Origa wished, she could end her own life. The King ordered that she be killed if necessary (wait, no, Seiichi wouldn’t allow that).

Elsewhere, Zakia Gilford had captured the earlier attacker. His name was Shin. When asked about his motive, it became clear that it wasn’t political ambition. It was revenge. A demon girl had been unjustly killed—she sold flowers, carried no weapon, and had no hostile intent. Shin had witnessed her death, and from that moment on, he decided to take revenge on everyone.

Back in the present, Zakia was cutting down a tree in rage while Seiichi once again tried to remove the collar from Origa. Without success, he thought back to how he had saved King Ranzerf before using magical creativity and decided to try again. But the magic circle in his hand began to shrink. Louise asked why. Seiichi replied that he needed to think carefully before using this power. Then he remembered his reward. He formed the image of President Lincoln in his mind. A powerful voice echoed, and a new magic took shape. Lincoln Magic. Freedom Magic. The collar shattered completely.

Origa collapsed, crying with relief. Seiichi told her she was free now. Saria hugged her tightly and told her that everything would be alright. Altria Grem said, still in shock, that she couldn’t believe someone had placed a slave collar on a child. At the same time, Lulune appeared, calmly devouring Lorna Kirizas‘s plate of food without the slightest hint of guilt. The moment Lorna saw it, she nearly exploded in rage and shouted, “You!”

But Origa spoke before she could continue. She began talking about herself in a quiet voice, one that carried years of suppressed pain beneath its calm surface. She said she belonged to the Cat Beastkin lineage and had once served the Empire. Long ago, she was taken from her homeland. All Beastkin children were imprisoned while their parents were sent to detention camps. From that day on, Origa lived alone. She continued, explaining that the children were placed into special classes and subjected to brutal training, molded into weapons.

Survivors were forced to become killers for the Kaiser Empire, fitted with bracelets that turned them into mindless slaughter machines—talk about a toxic work environment. Seiichi gently took Origa‘s hand, assuring her the nightmare was over. He blamed the Empire, not her, and offered to be her big brother. Origa hesitated, fearing her “traitor” status would endanger them, but Seiichi vowed to protect her. Louise agreed, confirming King Ranzerf wanted her safe too. Seiichi exhaled; she was staying.

Elsewhere, Helio Rooban grilled Vittour about the Demon Lord’s army. Vittour grumbled about adjusting plans since Lutia formed an alliance with the humans, but Helio insisted the evil scheme continue regardless. Back at the ranch, Seiichi mastered magic control under Florio, while Altria and Saria began their own studies. Louise suddenly announced she was heading to the border to handle the Black Paladin and a monster surge. She asked Seiichi to babysit King Ranzerf in her absence. He agreed, and the Valkyries departed.

Seiichi calmly told them to take care of themselves, and the Valkyries left. Left behind, he continued training, his mana flow noticeably increasing. Florio Balze mentioned he could learn a control-type skill now, which slightly embarrassed Seiichi. Suddenly, he discovered a new skill: Endless Hell. He broke down crying, fearing he’d become an uncontrollable force of destruction. Florio reassured him he was doing fine.

Just then, Ellis Maclaine and Giselle (wait, no, likely Gustle Clute or another knight) appeared with someone the King wished to see: Barnabus Ablitt, the Holy Mage. Florio recognized him instantly and fanboyed hard, revealing he bought Barnabus‘s books three times over. Barnabus smiled mysteriously, hinting at a long history with Florio.

Seiichi wondered why a top-tier mage was here. King Ranzerf appeared, shocked to see his old instructors. He offered Barnabus a chair, but Ellis offered a torture chair instead, which Barnabus happily sat on. Okay then.

Barnabus explained that the summoned heroes from another world were causing trouble at his academy. The phrase “Another World” caught Seiichi‘s attention. Meanwhile, at the academy, Karen Kannazuki was effortlessly defeating four guards at once, awing the students.

Suddenly, a messenger arrived with urgent news: 5,000 high-level monsters had appeared around the forest. King Ranzerf panicked, noting the Valkyries were already at the border. At the border, Louise Balze saw the monster density and ordered the Black Paladin to eliminate them before they could recover.

She dismounted, drew her sword, and the battle began. Monsters rushed her, but she released a water-based slash, sweeping away everything. Claudia Asterio ordered the remaining Valkyries and knights to join the fray. The Black Paladin praised Louise Balze‘s strength, but Claudia arrived with bad news: monsters were attacking the capital. Anxiety spread through the ranks.

Elsewhere, Vittour and Helio Rooban discussed strategy. Helio noted the Black Paladin was distracted, leaving Telbert vulnerable. Vittour believed sheer numbers would decide the outcome.

At the border of the Kingdom of Winburg (near Telbert), an enormous horde of monsters stood in formation. Seiichi and the others watched from above. Altria Grem said she’d never seen so many monsters. Seiichi noted their high levels. Saria spoke calmly: “We’ll kill them.” Seiichi looked at her in surprise, asking how she planned to fight in human form.

Suddenly, Lulune clung to Seiichi‘s arm, claiming she was scared. Seiichi comforted her, assuming it was normal fear, until she clarified: “If the capital falls, there’s no food left!” Seiichi stared at her. “That’s why you’re scared?” She nodded enthusiastically, adding she’d fight God for a meal, then laughed.

Origa Calmeria stepped forward, declaring she loved this country and would fight to protect it. Seiichi told her not to push herself. She innocently asked for a head pat after the war. Seiichi promised without hesitation.

Soon, the forces of Telbert arrived. Some immediately began destroying everything in their path. Seiichi asked why they were causing so much damage. Gustle Clute leaped into the air, declaring adventurers were here and no monster could stop them, laughing loudly with overflowing confidence. The monsters moved toward Telbert City, and Gustle shouted for everyone to follow him.

The capital gate opened, and Gustle Clute dropped from the sky like a majestic meat meteor. His muscles swelled, his eyes turned red, and he declared this his “justice” before flattening a monster. A demon tried to ambush him, but Ellis Maclaine saved him, scolding him for losing focus. Gustle recovered and unleashed a “full power” strike that was somehow even stronger than his previous “full power.” Seiichi asked in disbelief if this was real, and Barnabus Ablitt calmly replied that they didn’t pick Guild Masters by drawing straws.

Meanwhile, Ellis sliced through monsters without mercy. Then the weirdos arrived: one adventurer smashed monsters with a milk bottle, while another stripped naked and fired mysterious beams of light (because clothing restricts power, apparently). Seiichi muttered that even their fighting styles were insane. A third wielded a weapon larger than his own body, leaving Seiichi wondering about the physics of it all. Claude Schreizer joined the fray, actually using a sword properly, which made Seiichi relieved that someone knew how to fight.

Then, Noard (the café owner) and Leon Berger joined in. Noard apologized to the enemy before defeating them with shocking ease. Mei Cherry noted that it was only natural for a legend to be this strong. Seiichi stared—Noard was supposed to be just a café owner!

Suddenly, monsters were launched into orbit by a massive gorilla punch—Saria had entered the chat. Altria Grem followed up, using her “Disaster” magic to freeze an entire horde in ice. Noard marveled at the sheer scale of the ice, and Altria shattered it, securing the victory. Finally, Lulune charged in, screaming that anyone who stopped her from eating with a professional would be dead meat.

Lulune charged, eliminating the remaining monsters with a single blow. Origa Calmeria followed up with her assassin skills, pausing to remind Seiichi about the head pat promise. Barnabus Ablitt declared it was his turn, casting spell after spell, endlessly erasing monsters. But their numbers wouldn’t drop. Muttering about the sheer volume, he unleashed Chaos Cyclone, swallowing every monster in its path with surgical precision—never harming an ally. Seiichi marveled at the control; it was like a monster hiding in human skin.

Joy spread among the adventurers, with Seiichi humbly noting he’d barely done anything. Suddenly, new reports arrived: a second wave of boss-level monsters had appeared in the forest, heading for Telbert. Everyone was shocked by the scale—far larger than before. Seiichi realized victory was premature; a greater destruction loomed. He needed a large-scale plan that wouldn’t harm allies—a near-impossible task.

Then, he had an epiphany. “The Great Spell will make this war much easier,” Seiichi declared. The Statue of Liberty appeared (because why not?), and Seiichi activated his skill. Dark clouds gathered, and a massive surge of energy released. Seiichi muttered awkwardly that his armor hadn’t worked, but moments later, the Judgment skill began eliminating monsters one by one—striking only those with evil intent. The war ended in an instant.

Altria Grem praised Seiichi for defeating the monsters effortlessly. Lulune proudly declared him her mentor and friend. Saria shouted that they had won. Joy filled the battlefield. Elsewhere, Helio Rooban stared in disbelief as the light of judgment reached him, ending his life.

Everyone returned to Seiichi, whose level began rising at an absurd speed. He wondered if he’d remain superhuman forever. A system notification (or perhaps Hitsuji-san) appeared, stating his level had reached an extreme threshold, resulting in a new classification. Seiichi sighed, “I don’t need any more magic.”

King Ranzerf praised him, asking him to use his power to save the nation, then promised to talk later after examining injuries. Altria, Saria, and Lulune approached, asking about the strange language he used. Seiichi, embarrassed by the praise, called it a “dangerous language.” Finally, Origa came closer, reminding him of his promise.

He patted Origa Calmeria on the head as promised. Lorna Kirizas (or possibly Louise Balze upon return, but likely Lorna in context) jokingly asked for the same treatment, which Seiichi immediately refused.

Finally, Seiichi was asked whether he would become a teacher at the Barbador Magic Academy. He was slightly surprised. Barnabus Ablitt was there, along with Karen Kannazuki and Seiichi‘s friends, walking through the academy corridors under the strange, expectant gazes of the students. A quiet girl appeared (likely a background student or a cameo), observing them.

Barnabus turned to Seiichi and formally asked if he would accept the teaching position. Seiichi responded with a straightforward question: “What exactly do you want?” Barnabus explained that the “armor” (likely referring to the Judgment skill or Seiichi‘s unique power) wasn’t ordinary—it was a power so special that it surpassed even Barnabus‘s own magic. Seiichi was stunned. “Stronger than you?” Barnabus confirmed it was possible and offered to teach Seiichi how to control it.

When Seiichi hesitated, Barnabus asked why. Seiichi gave two reasons: first, he promised Louise Balze he wouldn’t leave the capital until the Valkyries returned; second, he wouldn’t leave his friends behind. Barnabus smiled, having a solution ready: Saria would join as a student, Altria Grem would become a teacher, Lulune could teach martial arts, and Origa could assist Seiichi directly. Seiichi looked at them one by one, and seeing their agreement, he accepted.

“Once Louise and the Valkyries return, we’ll all leave together,” Seiichi decided. For the first time in a while, things felt clear.

Later, Seiichi invited Lulune to eat with him, assuring her they had plenty of time before leaving for the academy. He then went on a quiet date with Altria, enjoying movies and peace away from war. Next was his time with Saria, who asked that Origa join them because she felt lonely with just the two of them. Seiichi agreed immediately. The three went out laughing, Origa holding Seiichi‘s hand with clear happiness.

Watching Origa play with children, Seiichi and Saria sat nearby. Seiichi reflected on how much had happened, then thanked Saria and told her he loved her. Saria couldn’t stop her tears.

The children, seeing Saria crying, accused Seiichi of being a bully. He tried to explain, but they dragged him off to play instead. He accepted his fate, playing tag or whatever games kids play in fantasy worlds. Suddenly, a massive airship passed overhead, displaying the winners of the Art Competition: Mei Cherry and Clay Berger.

The crowd headed to the ceremony. Clay presented his painting first—a confusing abstract piece. Lulune innocently guessed, “Is it a delicious apple?” causing Clay to question his artistic existence. Then Mei Cherry presented her entry, “The Hero.” It depicted Seiichi and Lulune (in donkey form), painted to give herself courage. Seiichi was surprised to see himself as the subject. Mei won First Place.

After the ceremony, Seiichi congratulated Mei. She revealed she had accepted an offer from Leon Berger to study art in the city. They promised to meet again, and Mei asked if she could draw him when she returned. Seiichi agreed, and Clay dragged Mei away to start their new life.

Just then, the Valkyries returned. Louise Balze approached Seiichi, mentioning she heard he was heading to the Barbador Magic Academy. She wished she could join him, but duty called. Seiichi told her to protect the kingdom and visit whenever possible.

Meanwhile, in the Demon Realm, Vittour spoke with a woman named Lutia (or possibly a member of the Demon God’s Cult). Suddenly, the Demon Lord (or Demon God) appeared in flames, complaining that progress was too slow. Lutia (or the strategist) suggested using the students at Barnabus‘s academy to gather resources (negative energy/distress) to revive him fully.

Back at the academy, a student wondered about a girl who had been asking about Seiichi, recalling that Seiichi had saved her life in the past.

Finally, Seiichi prepared to leave Telbert. Altria and Saria saw him off. Seiichi looked back at the city—the first he had visited in this world—and promised to return when he was stronger. He sat with Barnabus Ablitt, thanking the people of the city in his heart. Barnabus announced their arrival: they were finally at Barbador Magic Academy.

He didn’t know what his school life would be like, but no matter what happened, he had Saria, Altria, and the others. Whatever problems awaited him, he wouldn’t face them alone.

Suddenly, he felt a light shock. He stepped outside and found a man standing in front of him. Seiichi asked who he was. The man answered with strange confidence, “You don’t know me? I’m a superhero.”

Seiichi sighed inwardly. It seemed he had found yet another strange person, and his exhaustion was about to return.
