The story begins with a man named Canana. One day, he is suddenly attacked and stabbed by his stalker. Helpless and unable to defend himself, he watches as she surrounds her blade with lightning and delivers the finishing blow. Moments later, Canana awakens in a dark cave, confused and disoriented. An elderly goblin named Gabu greets him, calling him “Ru,” and offers him food. It’s then that Ru realizes the shocking truth—he has been reincarnated as a goblin. Overwhelmed by this revelation, he breaks down in tears, unhappy with his new form.
Three days pass, during which Ru observes his body growing and maturing rapidly, learning that goblins develop much faster than humans. Gabu distributes food to the young goblins but warns them that this is the last time. They must learn to hunt and fend for themselves.
Determined to adapt, Ru ventures outside the cave and begins to explore the strange, unfamiliar world around him. The landscape is teeming with peculiar creatures, unlike anything from his previous life. While wandering, he encounters another goblin named Kichi. They agree to work together and set out to hunt for food.
Their first target is a horned rabbit. Kichi chases the creature while Ru sets up an ambush, killing it with a precise strike. Kichi, eager to claim the prize for himself, tries to hoard the rabbit, but Ru scolds and beats him, insisting they must share. Ru takes the rabbit’s horn, considering whether it could serve as a weapon, when he suddenly sees a notification in his mind. Confused, he wonders what just happened.
The duo continues hunting using the same tactic to catch more prey. With each kill, Ru takes another horn, and the strange notifications reappear. While eating their catch, Ru receives a new system message informing him that he has learned the “Escape” ability. It’s then that he realizes he has retained his unique absorption ability from his past life. This rare skill allows him to acquire the abilities of creatures he consumes.
Although Ru no longer possesses the other powers he had in his human life, he feels confident that absorption is all he needs. By consuming the monsters in this new world, he can grow stronger.
Later, Ru and Kichi return to the cave, where they encounter a young goblin girl named Mio.
Mio, who thinks highly of herself for being able to hunt horned rabbits, boasts about her achievements. Ru, however, finds her arrogance pathetic. She reveals that she has even killed goblins before, earning her some respect from Ru. Mio seems to take a liking to him, and Ru invites her to join their hunt the following day. She agrees, but their plans are interrupted by rain, forcing them to postpone.
With free time on his hands, Ru explores the storage area in the cave. There, he is disturbed to discover that the goblins have been using captive human girls to procreate. Choosing to ignore this for now, Ru focuses on the materials stored nearby. He finds a piece of ore and decides to forge a weapon with it. As he works, Gabu approaches him, intrigued by Ru’s rapid progress. Gabu suggests that Ru might level up faster than usual, which confuses Ru. Gabu instructs him to tap his head, and when Ru does so, he learns that Gabu is at level 86.
Gabu explains that goblins evolve into hobgoblins once they reach level 100. However, most goblins fail to achieve this milestone due to their accelerated aging, which causes them to die before they can level up that far. This revelation fuels Ru’s determination to grow stronger and surpass his limits.
The next day, the rain clears, and Ru’s party sets out to hunt. Their teamwork allows them to defeat several monsters with relative ease. During one encounter, they kill a snake, and Ru consumes part of it, acquiring its abilities. Kichi, impressed by the taste, wonders if they can eat the snake’s head. Ru warns him that the head is poisonous and will kill them if consumed. They continue hunting over the following days, eventually discovering a cave. However, a swarm of bats ambushes them inside.
Kichi uses his shield to defend the group while Ru activates his “Evil Eye” skill, stunning the bats. Seizing the opportunity, the party quickly slaughters the creatures. After consuming the bats, Ru gains a new set of abilities. However, their success does not go unnoticed. A group of hungry goblins watches them from the shadows, eyeing their bounty with envy.
One night, while Ru is sleeping, the envious goblins surround him, intent on attacking. Luckily, Ru’s “Search” ability activates, alerting him to the danger. He wakes up and swiftly subdues them, but in the process, he accidentally stabs one of them. The goblin collapses, poisoned by Ru’s weapon, which is laced with venom. Ru insists it was an accident, explaining that he is still struggling to control his abilities. The others, frightened, hesitate to retaliate. Mio, however, realizes their intentions and strangles one of the attackers to protect Ru.
Later, as the group ventures deeper into the forest, they encounter an orc. The fight begins when Mio hurls a stone, breaking one of the orc’s fingers. Kichi follows up by slashing the orc’s leg, causing it to stumble and fall. Finally, Ru finishes the creature off. The group feasts on the orc’s flesh, with Ru gaining even more abilities from the encounter. Although his companions are satisfied, Ru begins to reflect on the toll this brutal lifestyle is taking on him and those around him.
Ru, now equipped with new abilities and a growing sense of responsibility, suggests sharing food with the other goblins. Despite his past as a selfish individual, he feels compelled to help them. The other goblins, grateful for the gesture, eagerly accept the food and feast. Ru reflects on his actions, puzzled by this change in himself but also oddly content.
That evening, as the goblins sleep, the system prompts Ru with a notification asking if he wishes to evolve. Groggy and uninterested in reading the details, he selects “yes” and promptly goes back to sleep. By morning, Ru wakes to find that his body has undergone a transformation. Looking at his reflection, he is shocked to see that he resembles his former human self. Kichi has also evolved, and Mio is in awe of their new appearances.
Gabu is astonished by their rapid evolution, remarking that it’s unheard of for goblins to rank up in just two weeks. Kichi, eager to test his newfound strength, challenges Ru to a sparring match. Ru accepts, and the two engage in a fierce fight in the woods. Kichi initially gains the upper hand, landing a solid hit and preparing to finish the fight. However, Ru counters with his superior speed, knocking Kichi down and winning the match. Despite his loss, Kichi admits defeat with a smile, acknowledging Ru’s strength. Ru humbly points out that Kichi is just as strong, but his own speed gave him the edge.
Their celebration is interrupted by the distant howl of a wolf. Ru quickly devises a plan, instructing Mio to ready the crossbow they had crafted. A wolf pack approaches, devouring everything in their path. As the group prepares for battle, Mio takes the first shot, hitting the pack leader with a poison bolt. Chaos ensues as the wolves scramble, and Ru and Kichi charge into the fray, slaughtering the wolves with their enhanced abilities. The pack leader, despite its injury, rises to fight again. Ru confronts it in a one-on-one clash and ultimately defeats it when the poison takes effect. Consuming the pack leader, Ru gains new abilities, including a unique “Leadership” skill.
Returning to the goblin cave, Ru instructs the goblins to eat the wolves but warns them they must start hunting their own prey in the future. The goblins, knowing they lack the strength to hunt successfully, plead for Ru to teach them. Inspired by their determination, Ru agrees and begins training them. His encouraging words, calling them comrades, deeply move the goblins, and they pledge their loyalty to him.
A few days later, tragedy strikes when the group discovers that the human captives in their storage area have taken their own lives. Ru holds a solemn memorial for them, realizing they must have lost all hope. The event strengthens his resolve to make the goblin tribe self-sufficient and disciplined, preventing such despair from occurring again.
Ru continues training the goblins, hunting monsters to gain more abilities in the process. His strength and skills grow exponentially, and his leadership starts transforming the goblin community. However, one day, while scouting the area, Ru spots a group of figures approaching. He immediately senses danger and prepares for a potential confrontation, wondering if these newcomers pose a threat to the tribe.
Ru wakes up groggily, his arms aching under the weight of Rebellia and Mio. He struggles to free himself without waking them, thinking about how his life has changed dramatically since becoming the goblin leader. He wonders if his actions, particularly the harsh punishment of Ken, were necessary or if he’s becoming more like the tyrants he once despised. Still, he knows that maintaining order in the village is critical for its survival and the safety of the humans.
Later that day, Ru organizes a training session for the goblins. He includes Rebellia in the group, hoping her warrior skills can inspire and train the goblins to be more disciplined fighters. The humans, still wary of the goblins, watch from a distance as Ru demonstrates techniques and drills. Rebellia, though hesitant at first, quickly takes to her role and begins to bond with some of the younger goblins, earning their respect.
Meanwhile, Mio approaches Ru with concerns about their food supply. The recent influx of goblins and the humans has strained their resources. Ru realizes they need to expand their hunting grounds, but this risks drawing attention from other tribes or even humans. He decides to lead an expedition to explore new areas, taking Mio, Kichi, and a few trusted goblins with him.
During their expedition, they encounter a formidable beast called the Shadowfang Lynx, a predator known for its stealth and speed. The group is caught off guard as the Lynx ambushes them, injuring one of the goblins. Ru uses his newly acquired skills to restrain the creature while Kichi and Mio attack its vulnerable spots. After a fierce battle, they manage to take it down. Ru consumes part of the beast, gaining its “Shadow Step” ability, which allows him to move almost invisibly in the shadows.
Returning to the village, Ru uses the Shadowfang Lynx’s pelt and meat as offerings to the goblins and humans, strengthening the bond between the two groups. He also begins teaching the goblins more advanced hunting and survival techniques, using his growing knowledge and abilities to prepare them for future threats.
One night, as Ru reflects on their progress, Rebellia approaches him again. This time, she thanks him for his efforts to protect the humans and for giving them a chance to rebuild their lives. She reveals her gratitude with a gesture of loyalty, vowing to fight alongside him if necessary. Ru accepts her pledge, realizing that alliances like these are vital for the village’s survival.
As the days pass, the village begins to thrive. The goblins become stronger under Ru’s leadership, and the humans slowly start to integrate, teaching the goblins about agriculture, craftsmanship, and other skills. However, Ru knows this fragile peace won’t last forever. Whispers of other tribes and looming threats from human adventurers reach his ears, reminding him that their greatest challenges are yet to come.
One evening, while Ru observes the bustling village, Mio and Kichi join him. They talk about how far they’ve come and the battles they’ve faced. Ru silently vows to protect this newfound family, no matter the cost.
But in the distance, the faint glow of torches hints at an approaching group. The peace they’ve worked so hard to build may soon be tested once again.
The goblins continued their training, and we meet Ru’s assistant, Goi, who had just evolved into a hobgoblin. Goi was responsible for teaching the goblins how to perform chores. Mio was the captain of the ranged unit, Ki oversaw the armored fighters, S was in charge of the light armored unit, and Se was the only mage in the village, leaving her without a dedicated team.
Ru decided to leave the training to them and ventured deeper into the woods. There, he encountered another tryhorn. Using his spell, he killed it in an instant, which boosted his confidence in his abilities. Feeling emboldened, he wandered off alone. Soon, he noticed a trail of blood and recalled Gabu’s warning about a dangerous creature in the woods known as the Red Bear. Despite the warning, Ru decided to follow the trail, which led him to a dead tryhorn. He deduced that the creature responsible possessed incredible strength, as it had ripped through the tryhorn’s scales effortlessly.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake as the Red Bear appeared, threatening to kill him. Ru considered running away but decided he wanted to obtain the bear’s skills instead. He engaged the bear, using his magic to rush toward its head. However, the bear blocked his spell with its hand, demonstrating sharp instincts that Ru hadn’t anticipated. Determined, Ru lunged at the bear and struck its head with all his might, only to realize that the bear’s skin was too tough. Forced to retreat, he tried to cover the bear with his strings, but the creature broke free and breathed fire, burning everything in the area before suddenly disappearing.
The Red Bear began searching for Ru. He hid behind a tree, using a spell to heal his wounds, and realized he needed to put everything on the line to defeat the bear. Gathering his strength, Ru charged back into the fight. As the bear breathed fire again, Ru protected himself with a shield and closed the distance, stabbing the bear’s mouth. The bear retaliated, sending Ru crashing against a tree. Severely injured, Ru knew the bear wouldn’t be able to breathe fire again since his sword was stuck in its mouth. Despite being on the verge of death and fearing his end was near, Ru decided to risk everything and deliver a decisive blow. The bear attacked, cutting off Ru’s arm, but he managed to defeat it. Mortally wounded, Ru ate the bear’s hand, acquiring its incredible strength, but he collapsed from his injuries.
At that moment, Ru received a message from the system informing him that he had reached the maximum level and was prompted to evolve into an ogre. He chose “yes” without hesitation and regained consciousness. Consuming the bear’s head, he learned more of its skills but noticed his knife had become smaller, realizing it was because he had transformed into an ogre.
Ru returned to the village, but his transformation left him unrecognizable to the goblins, who initially saw him as a threat. Calmly, he announced his return. Mio, realizing it was him, immediately kicked him, demanding to know where he had been. However, she hurt herself in the process. Her concern was evident as she scolded him, asking about his missing arm. Ru explained everything about his encounter with the Red Bear. The goblins were stunned, as they had always thought the Red Bear was the apex predator of the woods. Their awe quickly turned into admiration, and they bombarded Ru with questions about his battle. Despite their excitement, Ru was simply relieved to have made it back alive.
Mio and Rebellia began following him everywhere, much to his embarrassment. The other girls in the village were initially shocked by his new appearance, but they eventually realized it was him. One of the girls, Emory, inspected his weapon, noting how worn out it had become. She mentioned she had crafted a new knife using Spirit Stone and presented it to him. Ru was thrilled with her gift, though Mio and Rebellia grew visibly jealous.
Later, Ru spoke with the twins, marveling at their adaptability and thinking they would make excellent wives. Rebellia promptly smacked him for his comment, making her feelings clear. Checking in on Spanel, the alchemist, Ru found that she had been working on creating poison. She confessed she originally made it as a form of self-defense before realizing they could trust him. Ru reassured her that her efforts weren’t a problem and encouraged her to continue her work.
Suddenly, Ru sensed a surge of killing intent, though the source remained unclear.
As the days went on, Ru found himself unable to participate in training sessions with the other goblins. His immense strength was too much, as even a light punch left them critically injured, and Ki’s armor was almost completely destroyed in a single strike. This left Kichi demoralized, prompting him to venture out on his own to train. Meanwhile, S and Mio were seen getting along, while Goi busied herself mining Spirit Stones for future weapons and tools.
Ru spent time with Se, the village’s only mage, and reflected on his battle with the Red Bear. Thanks to the abilities he gained from consuming a slime, he was able to create a makeshift “arm,” which kept him functional despite his loss.
The next day, Goi rushed to Ru, carrying an injured spirit. Acting quickly, Ru used his healing magic to save the spirit’s life. Upon waking, the spirit introduced herself as Latana, expressing her gratitude for their help. She explained she had been attacked by humans and suspected their motive was the gem embedded in her head—a gem said to be worth a billion gold.
Latana begged for their assistance, revealing her story. She had been created by a legendary magician, tasked with guarding his secret treasure room. The room held a collection of powerful, legendary items, the likes of which could tip the scales of power in the world. Latana also shared her master’s deep hatred for humans, explaining that he created her specifically to protect his treasures from them.
Ru listened intently, understanding the gravity of the situation. With Latana’s plea for help and the revelation of the treasure room’s existence, Ru realized that both the spirit and the treasure she protected could be key to the goblins’ survival—and perhaps their ascension as a powerful force in the world.
Rather than let the humans take the items, he decides to give them all to GOI instead. Unsure of how to proceed, GOI wonders what to do, but he chooses to investigate the situation himself. Rubellus appears concerned, but Ru reassures her, promising he has no intention of killing the humans outright. Instead, he vows to try and persuade them.
Accompanied by GOI, he heads to her mining hall, which leads directly to the treasure room. He tells GOI to hide while he goes to confront the adventurers. When he finds them, they are shocked to see an ogre. Before they can react, an assassin attacks him, but Ru swiftly counters. He warns them they are trespassing and orders them to leave. They refuse and charge at him, but their attacks prove too simple, relying heavily on levels and job advancements. Suddenly, a lightning spell strikes him. The adventurers are stunned to see it has no effect, but Ru becomes enraged. Losing patience, he ends up devouring all of them.
By consuming them, Ru gains knowledge of their jobs and abilities. He also discovers a magical item bag and a concealment ring among their possessions. After eating the group, he gains the Dimensional Item Box ability.
Later, Latana brings them to her master, Velvet, and thanks them for their help. However, Latana fades away, leaving behind a gem. Ru consumes the gem and acquires the Golden Rule ability. With his new Item Box skill, he collects all the treasure. Still feeling guilty about the bodies, he decides to cremate them. One of the corpses drops a glove, which Ru tries on. The glove attaches itself to him, revealed to be a legendary item that grants him even more abilities. The others are amazed, as the glove feels as natural as his own hand.
Ru reviews the items they’ve gathered, noting their incredible strength. He shares most of the treasure with the hobgoblins but keeps two other legendary items, realizing how rare they are. With their newfound power, everyone continues leveling up while Ru explores deeper into the forest.
During his journey, Ru consumes a golden spider and a crystal deer, gaining their abilities. Eventually, he discovers an enormous tree and encounters a dryad, known for tempting men and using them as nourishment. The dryad approaches him, and he struggles to resist her charms but ultimately gives in. She blesses him and expresses her hope that he will return someday.
As Ru continues battling monsters and gaining abilities, he eventually returns to camp, only to find all the girls ignoring him. Confused, he asks what’s wrong and ends up talking to Spanel, who reveals that the girls are jealous because they noticed the kiss marks on his neck left by the dryad. Remembering the encounter, Ru feels conflicted. Spanel, however, surprises him by kissing him and confessing her feelings. Mio witnesses this and, in a fit of jealousy, clings to him, declaring she wants to kiss him too. One by one, the other girls join in, all vying for his affection.
The next day, Ru reveals that his search ability has improved, and he senses a group approaching. Heading out to meet them, he discovers that a delegation of elves has arrived to visit. Their leader looks down on the goblins, calling them savages, and offers a reward if they eliminate the humans threatening the woods. Gaba finds the offer generous, but Ru refuses, recognizing the elves’ insincerity.
The elves prepare to fight, but Ru releases his powerful aura, stunning them with his overwhelming presence. Surrounded by elven archers, Ru threatens to kill the leader unless he orders them to stand down. Fearing for his life, the leader complies. Ru explains that he rejected the offer because he disliked their condescending tone, but he assures them that he will protect the woods since it is also his home. To emphasize his strength, Ru summons countless spears to encircle the elves, forcing them to retreat.
Later, Ru hunts a gray slime and consumes its core, gaining a skill called Auto-Replication. He experiments by using his blood to summon a small creature, realizing he can use it to observe his surroundings. To protect the girls, he discreetly places his blood on their clothes, ensuring he can monitor them.
A few days later, Ru senses the elves returning. Their leader orders an attack, but Ru unleashes a deafening roar, stunning the elves before capturing them with his web. Confronting the leader, Ru asks why he returned. The leader admits he seeks revenge, though his companions reveal they tried to stop him. Ru declares that he will execute the leader but offers the others a chance to live by fighting mock battles against the goblins.
After the battles, six elves are defeated and consumed by Ru, granting him their skills. He informs the remaining elves that they will be kept as prisoners. Gaba is excited because many of the prisoners are women, but Ru sternly warns him not to touch them. Despite the leader begging for his life, Ru executes him, consuming his remains as well.
Meanwhile, Kichi defeats a bear and reaches max level, allowing him to evolve. When he returns to the cave, everyone is astonished by his transformation. Ru is pleased with Kichi’s progress and learns that Kichi evolved into a special variant, blessed by the demigods. Emboldened by his evolution, Kichi challenges Ru to a duel, believing he can match Ru’s power. Though the fight is difficult, Ru ultimately emerges victorious, acknowledging Kichi’s strength and recognizing him as a rival.
One night, Ru dreams of a dark figure that offers him a mysterious gift. He wakes up, uncertain if it was real.
Kichi’s success inspires the other goblins to evolve. Spanel evaluates their potential and discovers that one of them has the aptitude to become a mage. She also introduces Ru to a hobgoblin named G, explaining that he would make an excellent cleric.
Ru notices that Say has also evolved into a half-spell lord but is puzzled by the strange markings on her body. They head outside to test her powers, and Say unleashes a barrage of fireballs, causing widespread destruction. Proudly, she boasts that her spell was basic, but Ru, unimpressed, tells her he has seen enough. It is revealed that Say still has room to grow and could eventually evolve into a full spell lord.
Say receives new equipment to celebrate her milestone, and Ru takes note of how much stronger the villagers are becoming. Watching the goblins train, he realizes that his generation is performing better than the previous one, attributing their improvement to being raised in a more supportive environment.
The following day, goblins from the previous generation approach Ru, expressing dissatisfaction with how he runs the village and announcing their intent to leave. Ru calmly bids them farewell, surprising them. When asked why he isn’t trying to stop them, he explains that they are free to make their own choices. As a parting gift, he presents them with a knife made of methal, demonstrating its sharpness by cutting himself before handing it over.
Later, Ru encounters an orc standing over a dead human. Noticing that the human had an intriguing ability, Ru kills the orc and consumes the human’s body to gain the ability. Returning to the cave, Spanel offers him a drink, and he realizes it’s beer. Grateful for her ingenuity, he thanks her, and the villagers gather for a celebratory feast.
During the feast, Ru informs everyone about the goblins who left and asks if anyone else wishes to leave. The silence that follows reassures him that the villagers are happy. The feast continues with everyone drinking and enjoying themselves.
Afterward, Ru uses his blood to create magical earrings that enable remote communication. He distributes them among the goblins, who are amazed when they realize the earrings work perfectly.
Meanwhile, GOI defeats a tryhorn in a single hit, but Ru notices that the creature is still alive. Using the Monster Tamer ability he acquired from the human, he tames the tryhorn, which accepts the goblins as its master. Realizing the ability’s potential, Ru begins taming other creatures, intending to use them to serve the village.
Elsewhere, Rebellia is shown battling kobolds, defeating three with ease. Ru observes her skills and acknowledges her as a competent fighter. During her meal, she suddenly feels strange and realizes she has unlocked a new job. Excited by her progress, she continues hunting monsters, discovering that her new job, Noir Soldier, allows her to level up faster—though it requires her to consume monsters to sustain herself.
Rebellia informs Ru that humans have entered the woods, prompting him to prepare for war. Not long after, a group of kobolds rushes to the cave, pursued by a horde of skeletons. Ru orders his men to fight the skeletons, but their weapons prove ineffective. Sensing a powerful presence behind the skeletons, Ru identifies the source of their creation.
During the battle, one of the goblins hits a skeleton with the flat of her scabbard, causing it to crumble. Ru quickly deduces that the skeletons are weak to blunt attacks. He orders the goblins to smash the skeletons with their fists, taking the lead himself.
Ru promises to handle the situation in 10 seconds and charges into the fray. He demolishes the skeletons and reaches their leader, crushing it with a single blow in just seven seconds. Consuming the leader grants him new abilities.
Grateful for his help, the kobolds pledge loyalty to Ru, admitting they owe him their lives. They explain that they accidentally unearthed a treasury, awakening its guardian, which began hunting them down. Ru reminds them of the history of animosity between goblins and kobolds, but the kobolds express no hostility. Acknowledging their inferiority, they offer themselves to Ru’s service. Seeing their sincerity, Ru agrees to help them recover and reflects on how his village is becoming a uniquely diverse and resourceful community.
Ru decides to help the kobolds recover, realizing his village is becoming a uniquely diverse and interesting community. One day, while out hunting with Kichi, Ru notices a suspicious group of humans. Curious, he decides to follow them and ends up waiting near a hidden path. Using his ability to eavesdrop, he discovers that the group plans to kidnap the elf chief’s daughter. Shockingly, Ru also learns that an elf betrayed their people and leaked this information.
As night falls, the elf chief’s daughter and her guards pass through the area. The humans launch a surprise attack, killing the guards and closing in on the girl. Just as they’re about to capture her, Ru intervenes, swiftly dealing with the attackers. He captures one of the humans for interrogation and learns that their group is part of a larger plan to attack the elves in 20 days.
When the elf girl regains consciousness, she’s startled by Ru’s presence and accuses him of intending to take advantage of her. Ru calms her down, explaining that he has no interest in their conflict but warns her of the traitor among the elves. Hearing this, she begins to cry, and Ru tells her to rest for the night. Meanwhile, Gabu seems particularly interested in her.
The next day, Ru prepares to escort her back to her village. Along the way, he notices her wings and learns that she is a high elf. Upon arriving at the elf village, Ru detects numerous archers aiming at him with methal arrows. However, the girl orders them to stand down, introducing Ru as her savior.
Ru meets the elf chief and clarifies that his actions weren’t motivated by kindness. The chief, assessing Ru’s intentions, offers a reward. Ru accepts, thinking it will reveal how much the chief values his daughter. The chief presents an ancient-level item, delighting Ru, who reciprocates by sharing information about the humans’ planned attack. They strike a deal, and the chief bestows even more rare items upon Ru.
Before they leave, the elf chief inquires about his elite unit, wondering if Ru has encountered them. Ru pretends to know nothing. As a parting gesture, the chief gifts them alcohol and medicines. Impressed by the gesture, Ru promises to aid the elves if they ever face trouble.
The next morning, Ru discovers that Mio has evolved into a Dampir Variant thanks to her blessing from the God of Ice. Her newfound powers include the ability to control vast amounts of ice, and her eyes can bewitch enemies into attacking each other. Similarly, GOI has evolved into a Half Earth Lord, granting her enhanced strength, terrain manipulation, and the ability to detect ores. Sell has also transformed into a Half Blood Lord, capable of manipulating blood as a weapon.
With the war approaching, Ru decides to make full use of everyone’s abilities. He distributes his communication devices to the kobolds. However, the elves initially refuse them, citing their cultural taboo against decorating their ears. Undeterred, Ru spends the night convincing them to reconsider.
Ru gathers everyone to begin rigorous training, focusing on their individual and group strengths. Testing his abilities, he uses a new skill to summon a skeleton. To his surprise, the skeleton appears black and armored, signifying its rarity and power. The elves train against it, and Ru experiments further, discovering he can summon different types of undead. However, these undead creatures burn up when exposed to sunlight, limiting their use during the day.
As the group grows stronger, Ru notes their numbers have swelled to over a hundred, including kobolds, goblins, and elves. Observing that the kobolds are still the weakest, Ru takes them for additional training, using the opportunity to capture more wolf familiars to bolster their forces.
One night, Ru discovers that his halberd, which he had used in the fight against the red bear, has transformed. Emery, now an Elemental Smith, has enhanced the weapon using the materials obtained from the elves. Ru is amazed by her craftsmanship and praises her for her work.
Meanwhile, Kichi confides in Ru, admitting he has feelings for GOI but doesn’t know how to confess. Ru encourages him to act quickly, explaining that the sooner he knows her answer, the better. That night, Kichi nervously confesses his feelings to GOI. The next day, he radiates newfound confidence and strength, a clear sign that things went well. Later, Ru learns from Mio that GOI had sought her advice beforehand, confirming Ru’s belief that the two would work out.
During a group hunting session after training, Ru gains more abilities. Testing one of them, the Exoskeleton Ability, he creates a suit of armor with built-in healing and impact absorption. However, he’s dismayed to discover the skill uses his clothing as material, leaving him naked when he removes the armor. The skill also allows him to register multiple forms, and he experiments with creating insect wings. While he struggles to get used to flying, the potential of the ability excites him.
The group continues to progress: Emery creates a rapid-fire crossbow, and Spanel develops a new item crafted from the black skeletons. Their hard work is interrupted by the arrival of a group of elves sent by the chief. The elves inform them that the humans have launched their attack. They offer a significant reward for Ru’s assistance. Ru agrees on the condition that his group can operate freely. To solidify their alliance, Ru hands them an alpha communication device to deliver to the elf chief.
Inspired by the impending war, Ru gathers everyone and announces the formation of a mercenary group. Say asks what their name will be, and Ru declares it will be Parabellum, explaining that it means “Prepare for War.” The name ignites excitement and determination among the group.
Early the next morning, Ru leads his group to scout a human encampment. However, they find the camp surrounded by a powerful magical barrier. Say inspects it and concludes they can’t break through with their current capabilities.
Ru watches as the magical barrier surrounding the human camp shatters with a single blast from his gauntlet. The humans immediately panic as their camp is breached, and chaos erupts. Ru quickly takes charge, striking the ground and summoning an earth wall that isolates the humans. Say, with a swift motion, uses her fire magic to set parts of the camp ablaze. Ru summons countless skeletons, preparing to wipe out the humans, but they retaliate fiercely. Among them is a knight named Thees, who identifies Ru as the one summoning the skeletons and orders her soldiers to eliminate him.
Thees, displaying remarkable skill, casts a spell that significantly increases her speed, allowing her to close the distance quickly. Ru is impressed by her strength but, unfazed, casually strikes her, sending her flying back. He recognizes her talent and offers her a chance to join his group, but she vehemently refuses, declaring that she would never be captured alive.
Ru orders his companions to subdue the more skilled humans, deciding that the rest are expendable. Mio uses her evil eye to take control of the soldiers, making them turn on each other. Meanwhile, Say manipulates blood magic to create numerous blood swords, slaughtering the helpless soldiers. Thees’s men are quickly defeated, but she continues to fight, desperately stabbing at Ru with all her might, only for her weapons to bounce off his impenetrable skin.
In a final act of defiance, one of her mages summons a dragon with all of his remaining power, urging Thees to escape. Ru recognizes the danger, knowing that if the dragon hits him, he could be gravely injured. In an instant, he creates a magical shield to neutralize the dragon’s attack, and Thees, witnessing his power, realizes just how formidable Ru is. The mage sacrifices himself in the process, but his spell is in vain.
After the battle, Ru celebrates with the elf chief, who thanks him for eliminating the human threat. As Ru checks on the humans he captured, he provides them with the medicine he received from the elves, but Thees remains suspicious of his intentions. She assumes that he plans to use her for breeding, but Ru reassures her that he has other plans.
Ru then gives the humans the earcuffs, which are designed to prevent them from lying, allowing him to extract valuable information. He learns that the humans had to scatter their soldiers in different directions to move through the forest, and he decides to share this intel with the chief. Using the communication device, Ru tells the chief that the humans are planning to attack from multiple directions. In return, the chief promises him alcohol as a reward for this valuable information.
Ru prepares to ambush the humans and spots hundreds of soldiers marching through the woods. He signals his men to block the path, and chaos ensues. Boulders fall from the cliff, instantly killing hundreds of the soldiers. They then fall into traps set by Ru’s forces, and the Goblins quickly take them out. However, their leader manages to gather the surviving soldiers, ordering them to build a protective wall. They use stones to shield themselves, while their mages fight back with magic.
Ru watches, impressed by the leader’s resilience. He realizes he needs to adjust his tactics, as they’re struggling to defeat the humans. He orders Kichi to capture the leader, and Kichi charges, leading his men forward. The mages attempt to stop them, but they manage to get close and begin slaughtering the humans. Kichi confronts the leader in combat. Despite a strong effort, the leader is eventually captured, and his army is wiped out.
Later, the prisoners discuss Ru, fearing they’re about to be thrown in jail. However, the leader, Kobach, joins them and tells them to calm down. They recognize him and know him as a deserter, so they refuse to listen to him. Ru then interrogates Kobach, asking why the humans are invading the forest. Kobach explains that the princess of their kingdom is suffering from an incurable disease, and they’re searching for the elves’ secret medicine, believing it could heal her. Ru sees through their greed, knowing they simply want to save the princess, who is engaged to an emperor.
Meanwhile, GOI discovers a hot spring, and Ru decides to build a bath for everyone to relax in. The next day, Ru decides to train the prisoners, wanting to improve their combat abilities. He has them participate in mock battles. We see Sean Mio overseeing the prisoners, and Ru notes that they’re capable commanders. Kobach fights against a skeleton but finds it too weak, challenging Ru to a fight. Ru uses his ability to buff Kobach, telling him he’ll need it to survive. Ru completely overwhelms him, smashing him into the ground. After healing him, Kichi also expresses a desire to fight Ru, and they engage in a fierce battle, impressing everyone with their fighting spirit.
Afterward, Kobach opens up about his past, revealing that he grew up surrounded by demihumans. He admires Ru for uniting such a diverse group of people in the village. Kobach then decides he wants to serve Ru, removing his collar as a sign of loyalty. Ru orders him to train Rebellia, wanting her to grow stronger. Finally, Ru meets with the chief and informs him that three of his prisoners are injured.
The chief decides to accept their offer. Ru asks him about the secret medicine, knowing it has the power to cure all illnesses. The chief reveals that he had already given it to Ru earlier and warned him not to let the humans have it. Ru decides to test it out and gains an ability called “Medicine Blood.” He uses his blood on one of the prisoners, instantly healing them. Ru notes that the skill is incredibly overpowered.
The next evening, a human commander is enjoying a cup of tea when Ru’s spear suddenly strikes, blowing a hole through his body. The spear activates, impaling nearby soldiers, and Ru’s friends appear, wiping out the remaining humans. The following day, Ru visits the chief, who expresses a desire to end the war. He decides to send his elite unit to support Ru, believing the final battle is imminent.
As they return to the village, Theres tells Ru that she wants to serve him, but she asks him to give the secret medicine to the humans in order to save the princess. Ru contemplates this, realizing he could use the kingdom’s debt to his advantage. However, he also considers the religious system, knowing there are five great gods who grant extraordinary powers. He reflects on his own blessing from the God of Demons, which could lead to a religious conflict if he hands over the medicine. After some thought, he tells Theres that he will think about it.
Ru’s group approaches the enemy’s base, but he knows they are outnumbered and shouldn’t fight the humans head-on. He had scouted the area earlier and overheard the humans talking about the Rugal Ordin. He asks Kobach and Theres about it, and they explain that the Rugal Ordin consists of eight heroic warriors, each blessed by the gods. They have the ability to strengthen their allies. Ru looks forward to the challenge, eager to fight them and consume their abilities.
Ru summons his skeletons, and while Mio questions his actions, reminding him that it’s almost dawn, he reveals that he has a plan. He tells his friends to secure the perimeter as he plans to attack the base alone. His skeletons charge in, and the humans struggle to deal with them. However, as the sun rises, the skeletons begin to disappear. Ru reveals that he covered them in slime, which protects them from the sunlight.
Ru joins the battle, commanding the skeletons to assist his friends. He gathers the water and blood in the area, unleashing a powerful wave that wipes out all the soldiers in an instant. Just then, a boy named Philip approaches Ru.
Ru meets the prince of the kingdom, who expresses his desire to end the war. Ru hands over the secret medicine to the prince, telling him to use it to save the princess. The prince’s soldiers ask what they should do next, and Ru instructs them to send a messenger since they have already acquired the secret medicine.
Returning to Ru, we learn that he didn’t want to kill the prince, as he feared the kingdom would retaliate if that happened. Meanwhile, GOI destroys a cliff, creating a wall around the forest, and they begin to tend to their wounded soldiers.
Two human soldiers, attempting to return to their base, spot Ru and panic. However, Ru spares them, telling them that the war is over. He later holds a funeral for his fallen comrades, reflecting on the 30 lives lost in the battle. He notes that the corpses must be burned to prevent them from turning into zombies or ghosts, and his friends mourn their loss. Ru, however, is determined to do whatever it takes to ensure their survival.
After the battle, many of the goblins have evolved. She has become a half Saint Lord thanks to healing the injured and has gained a shield ability strong enough to withstand some of Ru’s punches. Gofu has become a ghoul due to constantly eating the zombies Ru created, and Ru finds himself a little scared of her. He tries not to dwell on it.
Ru runs into May, who has evolved into a demi with eyes all over her body, granting her a remote viewing ability that will be useful for gathering intel. Rot checks on the Cobalts, discovering that their leader has also evolved. He now calls himself Aita, revealing that he has gained a true name.
Ru learns that true names are special titles granted at a certain level, but if an enemy learns someone’s true name, they can cast curses or other spells. Aita, however, reveals his true name to Ru as a sign of loyalty.
Finally, Ru considers what to do with the prisoners. He tells them that they are free to leave, or they can stay as provisional members. Some of the prisoners, however, are unhappy about being treated like rookies.
Since the new provisional members are much stronger than the other goblins, Ru tells them to leave if they have a problem. However, the leader’s eye suggests fighting for control of the group. Ru decides to humor them and instructs them to attack him together. The group activates their orb weapons, which boost their power, but Ru still easily defeats them. He heals their wounds, but just as he’s about to move on, he’s hit by a sneak attack and sent flying. The gorilla man, calling himself the boss, steps forward, but Ru immediately punches him back and destroys him completely.
Ru looks around for the half-damp Pier but finds him flirting with Meo, so he gives him a special beating. Meo intervenes, and Ru gives the man some of his blood to heal him. Other members, grateful for being saved from slavery, willingly join as provisional members. The half-damp Pier tries to approach Ru again, claiming to have fallen in love with him after tasting his blood. However, Ru isn’t interested, so he gives him another beating. Despite this, they end up with 50 new provisional members.
Ru introduces Emory to some dwarves, but they seem a bit rude, which bothers her. Ru encourages her to get along with them, as dwarves are known to be the best craftsmen. In gratitude, the dwarves give him a new Warhammer.
One day, Ru goes for a walk in the woods and reflects on how much things have changed. Suddenly, the D appears and asks if he wants to have some fun. Despite trying to turn her down, she has her way with him. When Ru returns to the base, the girls are furious, seeing all the kiss marks on his face.
Later, Ru begins growing crops. He visited the dryad to obtain magical seeds that grow faster and are more nutritious. Some of the provisional members decide to leave, and it’s revealed that the noble prisoners have been released. However, they’ve been brainwashed by Moo and are now essentially spies for him. Ru also learns that the army has started to completely withdraw.
The chief is relieved that the war is over and invites Ru to join their banquet. Ru, meanwhile, spends some time crafting with the bones of his skeletons, creating a skeleton centipede. He shows it to the girls, who find it creepy, but he explains it can be used as a vehicle. He plans to take them back home and fulfill his promise to offer them the chance to choose whether they want to stay or not.
At the feast, which serves as a welcome for the new members, Zion remarks that the centipede might scare people in the town. The half-damp Pier, Danny, notes that both the Empire and the kingdom have disdain for demihumans, so he’ll need a noble family’s guarantor to enter. Z offers to help him out.
The next day, before they leave, Ru divides everyone into groups and instructs them to gather more information about the outside world while reminding them that no one is allowed to die. As they head toward the city of Triant, Ru thinks it will be quieter without everyone around but is looking forward to encountering even stronger prey.
Upon arriving at the city, everyone panics, fearing they’re about to be slaughtered. However, Ru’s companions explain their situation, and they manage to find a place to stay. Ru tells the girls they can leave his party and stay in the city. He knows they were kidnapped and wants them to enjoy their lives, but he values their skills and prefers having them around.
Ru’s group visits the adventurer’s guild, where Ru is immediately attacked because everyone sees him as a threat. He knocks out the aggressors, and Rellia tells the attendant about Parabellum. An old man suggests they register as adventurers, so they follow his advice. M invites Ru to go shopping, but he declines, explaining that he needs to gather intelligence. He disguises himself as a human and walks around the city. As he hears people talking about him, he realizes that his reputation makes it difficult to advertise his company.
Suddenly, Ru is ambushed by a group of thugs. He easily defeats them and eats their bodies, realizing they’re wearing rings with the same design. He suspects they are part of a criminal organization.
Ru overhears a boy arguing with a group of men who have taken a hostage. The boy had just paid their ransom, but the men refuse to release the hostage. The boy threatens to kill them, but the thugs overpower him and are about to stab him when Ru intervenes. He knocks the men out and infects them with one of his replicants. The boy thinks he should have killed them, but Ru explains he has a plan. He hands the boy a business card, telling him to contact Parabellum if he ever needs help, and reveals his true form.
That evening, the boy visits Ru and reveals that he’s trying to rescue a kidnapped princess. Ru informs him that he knows where she’s being held. Meanwhile, the thugs are in their hideout, but Ru eliminates them swiftly. He leads the boy to the princess, examining a document and realizing the whole situation was part of a bigger plan. He advises the boy not to tell anyone what happened, but the boy refuses. Ru then uses hypnosis to make him obey.
The next day, Ru learns that the next generation of goblins is being developed, which pleases him. However, he keeps thinking about the human girls, hoping they won’t leave him. He visits them, and they all express their desire to stay with him, which he appreciates. Later that day, Princess Ellis Sternb visits Ru. She knows he saved her and introduces herself. She’s aware of Parabellum and decides to hire them to escort her to the Royal Capital. Ru initially refuses, reminding her that she has guards, but she thinks they’re useless. The boy reveals that she’ll pay them a gold plate for the job, which is worth 1 million gold coins. Ru realizes the offer is too good to pass up, but he remains curious about why the princess has no guards. She explains that she left them behind, and Ru worries they might mistake him for a kidnapper, but he knows he can’t break the contract.
They set off on the journey, traveling in the skeleton centipede, with the princess guiding them to a herd of buffalo. They kill one for food, but Ru decides to tame one so the skeleton centipede looks less conspicuous. Along the way, they hunt monsters, but Ru becomes concerned about Ellis, who keeps putting herself in danger. They come across a nest of turtle snakes, and Ru handles the situation, while Ellis apologizes for her reckless behavior. She decides to help with preparing the food, and they enjoy the meal together. As they continue their journey, Ru reflects that while Ellis understands the dangers of monsters, her curiosity often leads her to make foolish decisions.
We learn that the boy, who is a knight, is about to train with Ru. However, Ellis decides to join them because she wants to learn how to fight. Ru observes that the boy lacks combat experience and, to make him realize how much stronger he needs to become, Ru beats him up. Despite this, Ru notices that Ellis has potential and is determined to improve her skills. They discuss the route they should take, and the boy warns that the shortest path is extremely dangerous, as it leads through the mountains, home to the strongest creatures known as the Filet’s Eagles. He adds that the leader of the eagles, the Jade Eagle, is a formidable opponent with the blessing of a God. While everyone suggests avoiding it, Ru dismisses their concerns and decides to hunt it.
They soon encounter a group of Filet’s Eagles, which Ru captures. The group eats them for breakfast, but the Jade Eagle suddenly appears. Ru begins to fight it, but after an hour, everyone grows concerned, thinking he’s going to lose. When they check, they see that Ru has lost his arm, which they think is a sign of trouble. However, Ru eats his arm to regenerate, revealing that he wasn’t fighting seriously. He then unleashes his full power, restraining the Jade Eagle and landing the finishing blow, sending it crashing to the ground. Upon examining the eagle, Ru notices something on its body — a Soul Stone located next to its heart. The girls recognize that it’s extremely rare and consider selling it for a fortune. Ru decides to eat the Jade Eagle, gaining its abilities, but Ellis asks why he eats everything he kills. Ru explains that he’s doing it to absorb their regrets and grudges. He admits that his explanation is unusual, as no one in his past life understood his actions, but Ellis doesn’t respond, instead quietly reflecting on what he said.
They arrive at the Village of Mason, where the people panic and prepare to fight Ru. However, Ellis shows them her crest, revealing her identity as the princess. The villagers recognize her and allow them to enter the village. The mayor offers them a place to stay and takes them on a tour of the village, hoping to give the princess a pleasant experience. That evening, everyone drinks together, and a man touches Mio, prompting her to beat him up. Ru challenges the villagers to a drinking competition, offering four silver plates to the winner. The villagers accept, but they all end up getting drunk, as Ru reveals that ogres can’t get drunk, and he had intentionally set them up so that they’d forget about Mio’s incident.
The next day, they continue their journey, but Ru realizes that both of the twins are pregnant with his children.
Ru calls Gabu, unsure of what to do, but Gabu informs him that they won’t make it back to their village in time. Ogre children are born immediately, and Gabu believes the sisters won’t survive because humans are too small to bear ogre children. Ru decides to find a place for them to give birth, urging the sisters to hang on, and they assure him they’ll be fine. However, Spanel realizes they’re growing weaker, and she believes they need something nutritious to survive. In desperation, Ru removes his arm and suggests they eat it, thinking it will provide them enough energy. The sisters refuse, not wanting to eat him, so Ru takes a bite of his own arm, kissing them and forcing it into their bodies, telling them he doesn’t want them to die.
They eventually reach a cave, where they are attacked by bears, but Z and the others handle the situation. Ru prepares a bed for the sisters and uses his healing ability to keep them alive as their bellies continue to grow. The sisters inform him that the babies are ready to be delivered, and Ru performs surgery on them. Moments later, everything goes well, and both sisters are still alive. Ru feels nervous but is relieved that he managed to save them, realizing that he is now a father.
Gabu calls Ru, telling him that the children are probably mixed-blood. Ru mentions they each have one horn, and Gabu suggests removing them because mixed-bloods are shunned by society and considered abominations. Ru, however, thinks this shouldn’t be an issue and promises to show them love, assuring Gabu that Parabellum will take care of the babies. We see that both children are born as Lords, each with an orb attached to them. Ru names the girl Oro and the boy Argent, naming them after the color of their orbs.
The next day, Ru leaves the cave alone, seeking a powerful monster. He comes across a giant deer, calling it the White Stag, thinking it might be a boss-level creature. He doubts he could defeat it even if he went all out, but decides to fight anyway. However, the White Stag removes its antlers and quickly runs away. Ru briefly considers eating the antlers but, thinking of his babies, decides to save them for them instead. Continuing his journey, Ru encounters a group of adventurers fighting monsters. He sees their leader, Baylor, and watches as the adventurers defeat the minions. However, Baylor then attacks with an energy blast, and Ru realizes they are struggling, though he acknowledges their skills.
The leader, Baylor, prepares to unleash his ultimate skill, but he is suddenly struck by magical arrows, which tear him into pieces instantly. Ru approaches Baylor’s remains, thinking about storing them in his item box. However, the adventurers, seeing him as a threat, prepare to fight him. As their leader emits a magnificent aura, Ru takes a keen interest in him.
Ru decides to spare Baylor, telling him he can have his potions in exchange for Baylor’s remains. Baylor agrees, and Ru places him in his item box. As Ru starts walking away, the adventurers discuss him, calling him an interesting creature. Baylor reveals that he has an ability called “Voice of Death,” which told him that Ru could have wiped out his entire party.
Ru eats Baylor’s remains and returns to the cave, where his family welcomes him back. He gives the White Stag’s horn to his children, allowing them to improve their stats. Ru tries eating it himself with Rebellia, and they both obtain strange abilities. Rebellia reveals that she has gained a new job called “Stal Eater,” but Ru realizes the White Stag is incredibly powerful and that he’s not strong enough to tame it.
Ru goes to sleep, and the system informs him that his level is maxed out, asking if he wants to evolve into an Apostle Lord. Ru agrees, gaining special abilities, but an error message appears, telling him he still needs to meet certain conditions to unlock a new set of skills.
The next day, they continue their journey but soon realize that Emory and Spanel are pregnant. Ru already knows what to do, so he tells them they will set up camp. They successfully deliver their babies: Emory’s son is a high work, while Spanel’s daughter is human and noticeably smaller than the others.
They rest in a place called Purgatory, and Ellis wears a disguise, thinking she might be recognized, since they are getting closer to the capital. The girls rest at an inn while Ru leads the others to the Adventurer’s Guild. Rebellia notices a training room, and a group of adventurers challenges Ru to a fight. However, he tells them to fight the others instead. The adventurers end up losing, and Ru invites them to join Parabellum.
Later, Ru goes shopping with the girls and buys a camera. He uses it to take pictures of his babies. That evening, he contacts the other members of Parabellum. He calls S, who reveals that Say has been able to buy spell books because they’ve been capturing criminals to make money. Ru contacts May, who explains that she’s been gathering information. Ru tells her she’s been working hard and instructs her to take a break.
Thinking about contacting Kichi, Ru suddenly has a vision of being sliced in half. He freaks out, wondering what the vision meant. Ru decides to head to the city of Gyos to check on Kichi. He tells Ellis that it will take two days, so they won’t reach the capital anytime soon, but she allows it, saying it shouldn’t be a problem. As they travel, everyone observes the babies, noticing that Spanel’s child isn’t developing as fast as the others. They think it’s because humans take longer to mature.
Ru notices May wearing a necklace, recognizing it as the one he gave her. May expresses feelings of inadequacy, believing she’s falling behind and that she’s nowhere near his level. She confesses that she wants to have a child with him, but he reassures her that he will never leave her, and that it doesn’t matter if she can’t bear his children.
They finally reach Gyos, where they see a dungeon, but before they can enter, they encounter a group of adventurers running away. The adventurers mention that there’s an overpowered Menur inside the dungeon. Ru speaks to the mayor, explaining that the Menur is his friend, but the mayor informs him that the adventurers are trying to eliminate him. Ru and his group return to the entrance of the dungeon, where Kichi and GOI appear, having grown significantly.
GOI reveals that they didn’t kill the adventurers, and Ru asks Kichi about the vision he had. Kichi explains that he reached the deepest part of the dungeon, where he encountered a boss monster that could copy him. He was no match for it, and the system told him he died, but his death was canceled by one of Ru’s abilities. Kichi then received the blessing of the Lightning God, which allowed him to reach a new level of power. Kichi managed to slice the monster in half, and Ru realizes this is the vision he saw.
Kichi reveals that he is now a Menur and that GOI is an Earth Lord. He wants to test his new skills and challenges Ru to a fight. They head to the arena, and Ellis wonders why they are fighting. May explains that they are rivals, and Kichi wants to be considered Ru’s equal since he’s never won against him.
The fight begins, and their weapons clash. Ru falls back, realizing that Kichi is stronger than him now. Kichi charges in, and Ru parries his attack, but suddenly an explosion occurs. Ru jumps away, realizing that he can’t resist Kichi’s flames. He understands that Kichi has gotten stronger because he wants to defeat him, which fires up Ru. The two clash again, and Ru uses his magic to attack from behind, but Kichi defends himself and summons a ball of energy.
Ru struggles to avoid it and boosts his stats using a new ability. He throws Kichi away and begins attacking at ridiculous speed, making it difficult for Kichi to defend himself. Kichi retaliates with a burst of flames, and Ru becomes confused. Kichi lunges at him, and Ru tries to use his magic to stop him. However, Kichi blocks the magic with his shield and attacks Ru with everything he has, creating a powerful shockwave that threatens everyone in the arena. Kichi suddenly realizes he forgot to hold back, and could have hurt his friends.
Ru recovers and tells Kichi to be more careful. He then dashes in with a new skill, unleashing his blazing fists. Kichi tries to block the attack, but his shield breaks, and Ru lands the finishing blow. Ru recalls how they used to hunt together, reflecting on the bond they’ve built.
After the fight, Ru reflects on how far both he and Kichi have come since their days as goblins, acknowledging the incredible growth they’ve both achieved. Kichi and GOI head back home, while Ru’s group makes their way to the Royal Capital. Iris escorts them to her palace, where she offers them shelter and prepares their reward. A feast is held in their honor, but the group struggles to sleep, as they aren’t accustomed to the luxurious surroundings.
The next morning, Iris hands Ru his payment and a special card that grants him free access to the capital. While Ru is unsure about receiving such an important gift, Iris mentions she plans to request his services again in the future, so she wants him to be able to return freely. Ru leaves some of his replicants in the city, and the group begins their journey back home.
As they travel, Mio becomes downcast, thinking about how much stronger Kichi has gotten. She worries about falling behind, but Ru reassures her that he will never abandon her and promises to help her train. They take a break, and Ru summons a group of giants to help Mio with her training. She gives it everything she has and defeats over 50 of them, but she feels it wasn’t enough. Ru commends her efforts, but Mio suddenly passes out from exhaustion. Ru carries her back to the others, and they all share a meal together.
That night, Mio undergoes a transformation, fulfilling the requirements to evolve into a Vampire Lord. Ru is just happy to see her happy again, as she’s regained her strength and confidence. They finally return to the forest, and upon arriving at the cave, they find that it has been completely renovated. The others have been busy, and GOI proudly shows them the new farm and ranch, where even the Dryad has been helping with planting.
However, G suddenly rushes in, announcing that Gabu is dying. Ru visits him, and Gabu is happy to meet his children before passing away. Though Gabu was only around 20 years old, he’s proud to have been part of something so special. Ru honors Gabu’s memory by organizing a tournament to see how much everyone in Parabellum has improved. The group participates in various matches, showcasing their new skills, and Kichi gets his rematch with Ru.
They charge at each other, causing a massive clash, and continue to fight throughout the day. Despite Kichi’s newfound strength, Ru manages to emerge victorious. As the tournament ends, everyone compares their results, and the twins serve dinner. Ru reflects on how strong and capable his family has become, feeling content and proud of how far they’ve all come.
It seems like the adventure is about to continue as Ru receives another call from Iris, this time with an offer he can’t turn down. The group prepares for their next journey to the capital, and it looks like they’ll be embarking on yet another exciting chapter.
The video wraps up, but the story is far from over. Ru and his companions are on a constant journey of growth, challenges, and new opportunities. It’s clear that whatever comes next will be another thrilling experience for them all.
Remember to keep an eye out for future updates, and stay tuned for more exciting adventures in their world! Thanks for watching!
