Summary Of Bogus Skill Fruitmaster | Anime | Episodes 5

Ella and Lena are busy preparing food and taking care of the garden. Lena offers to water the plants, but Ella says she already did it. Just then, Light walks in looking refreshed and announces that he feels great and isn’t going back to sleep. The girls immediately lift him up and tell him he needs rest because he ate four fruits at once. They tuck him back into bed, and Lena checks his temperature. Thankfully, it’s down, but they warn him to rest and eat properly. Lena prepares a hearty dish for him, which Light enjoys, clearly finding it delicious.

While eating, Lena informs him that they’ve received a summons from the Adventurer’s Guild. They want more details about the evil dragon fight. Light decides to go with them, but Ella insists he stays in bed to rest. Reluctantly, he agrees, and the girls leave.

At the guild, a receptionist tells them they’ll have to wait two hours for the meeting. Meanwhile, the younger girl with them tries to enter but is stopped because she isn’t officially registered as an adventurer. Lena steps in and gets her registered. After that, Lena suggests going shopping while they wait, but Ella hesitates, admitting she has no money. Lena laughs and assures her not to worry, offering to cover it. They walk through the city, enjoy ice cream, and visit a merchant store. Lena gets excited but is disappointed by the high prices. Still, they go inside, and Ella, using her skill, identifies a raw diamond. The merchant is shocked and offers to sell it at a discount. Lena buys it, and they’re thrilled.

Next, they visit a dress shop owned by a talented seamstress, Miss Reena. Lena orders a stylish adventurer outfit, and they head back to the guild for the meeting.

Meanwhile, Light is exercising despite warnings to rest. A tiny fairy tries to get him to relax, but he pushes himself too hard and eventually collapses onto the bed, thinking about Lena and Ella.

Back with Lena and Ella, they walk with a maid who stresses the importance of gathering as much information as possible about the evil dragon. Lena promises to help, but inside, she’s suspicious. She believes someone sent the dragon to kill them, and that the Adventurer’s Guild knew they were headed to the Count’s mansion. Lena vows to uncover the truth.

They enter the spacious meeting hall of the guild, where the four main offices are represented. The Guild Master is leading the meeting, with the heads of the four departments behind them. Ella whispers to Lena, noting that they’re now face-to-face with the key players. Lena analyzes the group: a woman with a hat, the head of Investigations; a man with a broad mustache, the head of Security; a man with long hair, the head of Finance; and a woman with a stern gaze, the head of Inspections. The episode ends by raising a question for the audience.

The episode raises a mystery about who the mastermind is trying to kill Lena and Ella. The Saintess, the head of inspections, steps forward to address the group. She praises their work at Count Monty’s estate and expresses relief that they’re all safe. However, Lena is furious and silently vows never to see her again, though she’s curious about the Saintess’s reaction.

A guild girl whispers to Ella, explaining that the Saintess is the highest-ranking member in the guild, connecting all the other offices. Ella tries to evaluate the Saintess using her skill, but it doesn’t work, leaving her puzzled. The Saintess then turns to Lena, asking her to share everything she saw about the evil dragon.

Before speaking, Lena asks about a woman named Draa from the Black Swan, who was present during the attack at the Count’s estate. The room goes silent, and the leaders shake their heads, unaware of Draa or the Black Swan. They suggest checking the guild’s records but warn that authorization is required. The focus shifts back to the dragon, and Lena reveals a dragon scale she found at the estate. She agrees to hand it over but demands access to all records related to Draa, which the group agrees to.

The head of Investigations uses her magical skill to search the guild’s archives. After a moment, she finds a record about a girl named Draa who consumed a skill fruit 12 years ago in Athena, gaining the power of spirit summoning. Lena demands to know the investigator’s connection to Draa, but the investigator claims to grant skills to many people each year, so she doesn’t remember specifics from 12 years ago.

The official then drops a bombshell: all records of the Luxuria team will be erased because Light recruited them illegally. Light arrives just in time, and Lena informs him that their records are being erased. Light, unfazed, declares that it doesn’t matter whether their records are erased—they will always be the Luxuria team. However, the official uses magic to offer them one last chance: complete an S-ranked monster hunting mission, and their team can stay in the guild. Lena is suspicious, but Light decides to take on the challenge to become a powerful adventurer and leave his mark on history.

While the team discusses the mission, Lena remains skeptical, convinced the official has sinister intentions. Ella reveals that she tried to evaluate the official’s abilities with her skill, but nothing showed up, which is strange. Their conversation is interrupted by the Gravekeeper from the Finance office, who informs Light that weapons aren’t allowed in the meeting room and he must pay a 1,000 gold fine. Light smirks, explaining that the object he’s carrying isn’t a weapon but a broken sword. The Gravekeeper then informs him that the broken sword was borrowed from the guild, and since Light didn’t take care of it, he owes a 5,000 gold penalty.

Annoyed but resigned, Light heads to the reception desk, where the receptionist tells him he’s banned from borrowing weapons due to breaking two already. He’ll need to buy his own sword. Undeterred, Light decides to gear up for the dragon hunt. Outside the guild, Lena tells Light that while he’s getting his sword made, she’ll head to Athena for a bit, and they’ll meet up after. They exchange farewells.
